Did you catch our special announcement at the Future Games Show yesterday? Broadcasted shortly before Gamescom, FGS is a digital showcase that highlights some of the most exciting upcoming titles and projects in the gaming world. This year, we were thrilled to join the line-up with something very special to share.
During the show, we premiered a brand-new, exclusive teaser, which officially revealed something we've been working towards for quite a while now. If you missed it, you can re-watch the video on our official YouTube channel below.
That’s right, it’s official! Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator are shifting gears and heading to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S! If you're excited about the road ahead, you can support this project by wish-listing the games on your console platform of choice at our dedicated micro-site,
scssoft.com/consoles, and by following our official social media channels (X, BlueSky, Facebook, Instagram) and Newsletter to stay in the loop.
Whether you’re a long-time fan who’s been waiting to hit the road on console, or someone discovering the world of truck sims for the first time, we’re thrilled to be bringing our most popular titles to entirely new platforms. We know many of you game exclusively on console, and we’re excited to finally open the door for you to experience ETS2 and ATS. We can’t wait to see fresh faces joining our #BestCommunityEver and hitting the road for the very first time!
Of course, this is just the beginning, and with quite a bit of work still ahead, we’ll be sharing much more about this project, what you can expect, and more about our plans when the time comes.
The road to consoles might be uncharted territory for us, but we’re ready to explore it! Whilst we’re not ready to share a specific release date yet, we look forward to reading your comments and reaction to this news, so be sure to let us know if you're excited about this upcoming release. We thank you for all your support over the years, and we look forward to the future of truckin' with you on console and PC!
