Hello everyone!
This week, we’ve been focusing on fixing a number of issues across the game, including some important problems with mod loading, lobbies, races, weapons, and more. Here’s what we managed to improve:
FIXED
Fixed an issue that could cause mods to get stuck at 0% and prevent them from loading.
LOBBY
Added the option to open the Preset Editor directly from the lobby preset selection screen.
Further improved the auto download system for tracks and presets, including error handling, retry options, processing reliability, track voting updates, late joining and spectator handling.
Fixed steam content loading not finishing correctly when no mods were subscribed.
Fixed a lobby input issue where a single confirm press could unintentionally trigger an action on the following screen.
Fixed Arcade AI difficulty selection becoming out of sync with the lobby settings.
Fixed cup counter icons briefly appearing while returning to the menu after a race.
IN-GAME
Improved recovery for AI racers getting stuck.
Improved race startup reliability and fixed cases where the game could remain stuck on a black screen.
Fixed characters remaining in their defeat pose after restarting a race.
Fixed Photo Mode not working in Arena Classic.
Fixed drift boost particles and text sometimes remaining visible after they should disappear.
Fixed race finish music behavior in both offline and online races.
Fixed the RACE ENDS IN message overlapping the final race results.
Improved race-position tracking after teleports.
Fixed Time Trial ghost persistence. No Ghost now remains disabled after setting a personal best and restarting, while Local Record automatically displays the newly recorded ghost after the first PB
Improved overall in-game audio handling.
WEAPONS
Improved weapon throw and discard reliability after the final use.
Fixed Hammer sometimes failing to award an item after destroying nearby item boxes.
Fixed Tank navigation on track shortcuts, preventing it from turning back toward an outdated route.
OTHER
Added descriptions that appear when hovering over the auto download system settings.
Fixed Streamer Mode not consistently applying its lobby ID visibility setting.
Fixed page navigation while reordering customization presets and preset groups.
