Blade Symphony Discord Server

Blade Symphony Discord Server

A message from eBunny (a community veteran):

Hello everyone.

I was laying in bed, thinking about what I should do with my life at 5:30am, until out of nowhere, I got a message from god. I grabbed my phone, looked at my messages and there it was: "Make a Blade Symphony Discord server".

Here it is: (EDIT: urinal-cake done edit your event post!)
https://discord.gg/punyhuman

For those who are not familiar with Discord, it's a voice and text chatting service made specifically for gamers, similar to TeamSpeak for example, but with some improvements and differences.

You can download the client here[discordapp.com].
(there is also a mobile version, which I heard is pretty good)

Q&A

What?
The server is supposed to be a place for people to chat, get to know each other a little better, make friends, make love, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, help each other, give and receive advice, fully unleash their autism, share wisdom, hang out, discuss things, organize events and tournaments, play together and have fun.

Why?
Read the anecdote above (tl;dr I'm bored and this gives me something to do and focus on).

Where?
The Discord server will be hosted in the Netherlands.

Who can join?
Anyone who is interested.

"The game is dead. Just move on."
Yeah

Channels

These are the current text channels I have in mind (subject to change):
#Blade_Symphony (general)
#Off_topic (♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ goes here too)
#Game_balance
#Help
#Teaching/training
#Events/Tournaments
#Workshop
#NSFW/lewd (could possibly be combined with off_topic)

I'm not sure about voice channels yet. Feel free to make suggestions.

Rules/guidelines

To actually make this work and to keep a nice atmosphere, I figured some rules or guidelines might be necessary.
This should be common sense, but try to use the channels appropriately. If there is something specific you'd like to ask or talk about, let's say you need some tips for using Phalanx for example, you can ask for help in #Help or look for someone to teach you in #Training.
Related to rule 1 and also pretty obvious. No ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ or NSFW posts outside of #Off_topic or #NSFW.
Be friendly. This should also speak for itself. If things become too toxic or hostile, measures will have to be taken as to maintain the aformentioned decent atmosphere.

Measures may include muting, kicking and/or banning from the server.

If there are any more questions or suggestions, feel free to leave them in this thread, on the server or message me personally. I've never hosted anything like this before, so help would definitely be appreciated.
