The refresh of DCS' older 3D models continues, and this week it's the civilian vehicles' turn. The Ikarus bus and ZiU-9 trolleybus have been revamped, and an all-new UAZ-452 van now comes in a wide range of variants and liveries from 1965 to the present day. Take a look below.

In Memory of Matt Wagner

Last week we shared the news of the passing of our friend and colleague Matt Wagner. In the days since, we have been deeply moved by this community's response.

The many messages, memories, and tribute videos you created and shared have meant more to us than we can properly put into words. Matt spent years talking to you about DCS, and seeing so many of you talk about him in return has comforted his family and everyone at Eagle Dynamics during a difficult week.

Many of you have also taken to the skies in his honour. This week's screenshots feature the tribute liveries for the DCS: F/A-18C and DCS: F-16C. For years, Matt's videos walked thousands of virtual pilots through every system and procedure on these aircraft, and it feels right that they carry his name. We know he would have liked them. Static Models Refresh, Part 2

Civilian Vehicles: Ikarus, ZiU-9 and the New UAZ-452

Last week we showed you the first results of our ongoing work to revise DCS' older 3D models. The effort continues, and this time we've turned our attention to the civilian vehicles that populate the roads and towns of your missions.

The Ikarus bus and the ZiU-9 trolleybus have already been revamped. Both keep the familiar look you know from the Mission Editor, but now with the level of detail you'd expect from a modern DCS asset.

We've also built a brand-new 3D model of the UAZ-452 van, available for use in any scenario from 1965 to the present day. It comes with a wide range of modifications and liveries, including versions for airport operations, police, medical services, and other technical and civilian roles, covering both the Soviet era and modern-day Russia. Whether you're dressing an airfield ramp in the 1970s or a modern city street, there's a UAZ-452 to fit.

More models are on the way, and we'll keep sharing the progress with you.
