We’re proud to present our first ever in-game event — a celebration of chaos, courage, and creativity in the wasteland. Whether you roam alone or run with a crew, this one’s for all of you.

What’s Going On?
It’s time to collect Wasteland Games Chips (WG Chips) through various in-game activities — available in singleplayer and multiplayer!
You can barter these WG Chips for exclusive event rewards from a special trader located at Frank and Ron’s camp.
How to Collect WG Chips
The wasteland is alive and unpredictable — exploration is key. WG Chips won’t come to you unless you hit the road. Here’s what to look for:
Golden Lootbox
Hidden throughout the world, these rare boxes contain WG Chips. Explore far and wide — they reward the bold.
Desert Yeti
The myth is real. Find and defeat the roaming Yeti between 0–7 AM, or track him down in the Swamps during the day. Loot his hair — it’s highly valuable.
Horde of Clones
OGD’s secret experiments have spilled into the wild. From 4–6 AM, clones escape into the fog. Hunt them for WG Chips.
Golden Truck
No flags. No owners. Just a mysterious truck full of WG Chips. Take it down. Loot the wreck. No questions asked.
Chupacabras
Driven by blood and madness, these beasts have left Deadwoods and now roam the open desert between 7–12 PM. Their skins are prized event items.
Quests
Your main event mission: Collect 250 WG Chips — by any means necessary. No shortcuts, no cheats — just wasteland grit.
Daily Challenges
We’ve prepared 14 unique daily quests, each worth 25 WG Chips. They appear randomly, so check in daily and stay sharp.
Event Rewards
Earn Chips, trade them, and unlock brand new items:
- Sombrero – Because even in hell, style matters.
- Straw Hat – Perfect for the scorching sun and savage looks.
- Rusty ISO Tank (Blueprint) – Store up to 10,000L of any liquid.
- Wasteland Games Trophy (Blueprint) – A monument to your survival spirit.
Other Improvements
We didn’t stop at the event — this patch also brings some important upgrades:
- New 3D model for Cowboy Hat
- Storage upgrades:
- Private Box: 120
- Footlocker: 250
- Vault: 500
- Depot: 1000
- UI Enhancements
- Traverse spawn rate increased
- Settlement waves no longer head straight to the center during the day — they’ll surround you instead, only hitting the center at night
