Second, while our studio has been working on the full game, we also decided to go back and make some improvements to the demo so you can get a better feel for how the game will be once it's finished. Below is a breakdown of our improvements and additions in our Love's Crescendo demo:
Overall game improvements:
- Improved sprite and camera movement, SFX, and speaker highlight
- Added loading screen animation
Rhythm mini-game focused improvements:
- Rhythm mini-game UI improvements
- Added a "Ready, Start" animation before the rhythm mini-game begins
- A tutorial screen appears at the beginning of the first rhythm mini-game
- There is now a separate note indicator for holding versus pressing notes
- Rhythm game tracks have been re-synced to match the music better🎶
