Battle Drones: Red Rock Resistance is an upcoming top down drone shooter for PC. Upon starting a new game, you’ll find yourself in the desert equipped with nothing more than a military drone, a handgun and a knife to fend off the incoming waves of hostile drones sent from the evil megacorporation A-EYE.
A-EYE specialises in the integration of artificial intelligence with all aspects of daily life. From fridges and coffee machines to toasters and toilets, they have effectively integrated AI into all of their products. They have also weaponized drones sold under the guise of personal protection, however, they are really purposed for reconnaissance, surveillance and active infiltration of A-EYE interests.
Elord Odor is the founder and CEO of A-EYE. He made a large fortune through the manufacture and supply of household items under the A-EYE brand, as well as the sale of private information collected via the spyware built into all A-EYE products. Through clever marketing and PR, Odor is seen as a philanthropic visionary to the general public, one who revolutionised drone technology after the Drone Wars.
Elord has ties to another character you’ll meet early on in Red Rock Resistance; famous drone salesman Solomon Burgundy. The two of them have not been on friendly terms, in fact, for some reason Elord seems to have a vendetta against Solomon. Stay tuned to future articles to find out more about Solomon…
