Are you ready for the full release of Shrieking Darkness this Halloween? I've been working tirelessly for the past 3 years on Shrieking Darkness in my spare time and it's finally time to let the bird fly from its nest.
The game will have minor bugs during release, no game is perfect but it will at least be beatable and an enjoyable, frightening experience. I've recently started a new full-time job, so working on the game is a lot harder now but updates will be coming.
You will be able to purchase the game for free on the 31st of October 2023, it would mean a lot for you to try it out. It's not just my hard work, but also various other people who have put in hours of their lives into making this product become a reality.
The reason the game is free is due to the fact the game has not received as much traction as I would have liked and feel as though barely anyone would play it if it was not free. Unfortunately, we've been drowned in a sea of horror releases this time around, right when I started to get serious about releasing something I'm legitimately proud of.
This game is a passion project of mine, and I hope that at least some more people can sit down and understand the vision I had for this project. I would love to add more content, but my time has now become much more precious to me.
