We have decided to update “雨にして人を外れ” so it can support the switch to the English version!
This VN was originally made for Japanese players.However, after the announcement of the game, we received comments from English-speaking users and requests to make an English version too. This was an unexpected delight for us, and we strongly felt that we would like for English-speaking players to be able to enjoy this work somehow. In the midst of this, translator Marta Güell contacted with us with a proposal to localize the game, and so we decided to publish an English version.We are very grateful to Marta for translating this game, which has a lot of difficult Japanese, without spoiling its atmosphere.After many discussions, the English title we decided on is “Absent in the Rain”, and we love it!

「雨にして人を外れ」が、英語版への切り替えに対応したアップデートを行うことを決定いたしました！
本作「雨にして人を外れ」は最初、日本のユーザーに向け制作しました。しかし本作発表以降、英語圏のユーザーからのコメントをいただき、英語版を作って欲しいとの要望も多くいただきました。これは私たちにとって予想外の喜びであり、どうにかこの作品を英語圏のユーザーにも楽しんでもらいたいと強く考えるようになりました。そんな中、Marta Güell様から自分が英訳を担当するので英語版を出さないかという提案をいただき、今回の英語版への対応が決定しました。難しい日本語も多くある本作で作品の雰囲気を損なうことなく英訳いただいたMarta様には本当に感謝しております。タイトルは何度も議論を重ね”Absent in the Rain”に決定しました。私たちはこのタイトルをとても気に入っています。
