We are thrilled to announce that Patch 1.6 is now live! This update brings in a variety of bug fixes, optimizations, and a new language option to make your experience in Byteland even better. Dive in to see what’s new and what has been polished to shine!

Patch Highlights:

Language Support:

  • Added Korean Language option, making Boti Byteland Overclocked more accessible to our Korean players.

DLC Improvements (Click or Treat):

  • Fixed the Summary Screen players’ score positioning for a clearer view of your achievements.
  • Polished Click or Treat levels’ visuals for a spookier atmosphere.
  • Addressed minor collision issues for smoother gameplay.
  • Resolved multiple combat issues with Fiery Glitcher.
  • Fixed a rare level loading crash to ensure a seamless gaming experience.
  • Client’s hovercraft now properly collects candy data - sweet success!
  • Corrected a few magnetic interactions for a more realistic feel.
  • Goodput’s Lottery now can serve two clients at once, doubling the fun!
  • Halloween Portals won’t spook you by opening each time you approach them.
  • Made Confusion debuff less confusing, while retaining its challenging aspect.
  • Catbot is now recognized as a Player character in every situation, as it should be.

Core Game Enhancements:

  • Host will no longer be bothered by hearing the client's hovercraft dash sound each time the client dashes.
  • Host camera remains steady and won’t shake when the client's hovercraft collides with objects.
  • Summary Screen bar now fills completely if you manage to snag more files than required for a 3-star score - overachievers rejoice!
  • Implemented small optimization & performance adjustments for a smoother gaming experience.
  • Fixed the replication issue with breakable platforms.
  • Introduced distinct HUD color schemes for Host and Client, for a more personalized touch.
