I appreciate everyone's patience as I work on the next update; I know it's been 3 weeks since the last one (school archetypes).
Coach Contracts Update
This one is focused almost exclusively on revamping the coach carousel, and includes coach contracts! It's a big change but adds to the realism, without being too tedious. Some features around contracts include:
- Different guarantees that prevent/allow early exits; i.e. a 'Team Lock' prevents the team from firing the coach for X years.
- Counter offers, so you can retain a coach who signs with a different team by offering them more money.
- Buyouts and coach salaries cost money, which comes from your booster money pool. You'll need to pay out any coaching staff debt before upgrading school attributes.
Additionally, I hope to add Pro League for coaches, but we'll see if that makes this first update. Down the line, coach alma maters and personalities are planned.
