extreme thanks to discord user holland for perfectly recreating the "scene of the crime" for me -- I was able to reproduce the item vanishing / duplicating bug, then I made a change that seems to have resolved it
unfortunately I return to the bakery tomorrow for a couple shifts and can't monitor this as much as I'd like, so if issues persist I'd love a note, it really helps
