We are moving to Unreal Engine 5.1

Hi Agroniseans!

We are moving our beloved game Argonisos, from Unity to Unreal Engine 5.1!

Why? Because Unity could not contain the experience we want to offer with this game!
Mainly, performance issues due to the large scale of Argonisos!

Therefore, we are moving the development process from Unity to Unreal Engine and we could not be any happier about it!

What you can expect with this move...?

Con (yes only one)
------

  • A major delay in delivery. Approximately 4-6 months for a play-test version!

Pros (yes...with an "s")

  • An even larger open world map. We are building a map that will be 40x40 km. This means 1,600sqkm or for our Imperial friends 617.76sqml (that's both Hong Kong's and Guam's areas put together!!!)
  • Higher quality graphics. Yes we are moving from low-poly to more detailed graphics. Screenshots will be uploaded Monday, April 10th.
  • Better Multiplayer experience. Unreal Engine 5 offers much faster multiplayer management
  • Quest-giving NPCs. Yes! There will be famous Figures from Ancient Greece scattered around the world, waiting to give you Quests for you to complete!
  • Option for a randomly-generated World! Apart from playing in a replica map of Greece, you will have the option of creating a random world for you to explore!

.
and many more!

So, as a thank you for your patience we are adding many more features and content to Agronisos, hoping to achieve a much better game experience for you!

Stick around for screenshots and updates!

Geia sou!
