Dear Magicians,
Greetings to you all!
We are sharing our rencent develpoment progress with everyone! In the past 2 months, we have been continuously developing Chapter 5, while also filling in content such as spells, relics and curses.
At present, we have 94 spells, 76 relics and 57 curses. Some of these contents have already met with a small number of Magicians at the gaming offline exhibitions of Bilibili World and China Joy, and of course there are also new contents we have developed in the days after the exhibition. OK, no more nonsense, please refer to the recent development content~
【Development of New Content】
The development direction of new content has actually been discussed in the previous developer log, so we won't go into too much detail here and will directly show you~
●New Spells
Recently, we have come up with new ideas, so we have added 4 new spells. 2 of them have already met with Magicians who came to participate in Bilibili World and China Joy. Have you encountered them during the experience? The remaining two spells are inspired by recent ideas and have been successfully generated through discussion and creation. However, they still need to undergo testing, tuning, and beautification before they can grow into a qualified grown spell~
Just like last time, you can guess their effects through the icons. Of course, it's okay if you can't guess, as some of them will be released in the disclosures~
●New Chapter Content
As the leading role delves deeper into another world, we believe Magicians have noticed that both maps and monsters are becoming increasingly demonic. So in order to meet this setting, our art teachers have been racking their brains to create new maps and monsters during this period.
At present, there are two new bosses added, one of which has already been seen in offline exhibitions and previous disclosures, while the other could be viewed in the following image. Of course, there is also the new map scene of Chapter 5, but it is not yet finalized. We plan to strive for excellence and optimize the map of Chapter 5.
●New Relics
Of course, besides spells we have also made new relics.
In the development process of relics, we have been thinking about whether there are other ways for players to obtain specific relics in a specific way besides being able to obtain relics normally in game levels. The previously updated relic named "Spirit Mirror" in the previously launched Soul Set is our exploration and attempt in the direction of such unique relics. It is worth noting that although the set and relic have been optimized several times due to various reasons since their launch, the overall feedback from players is still good, and the frequency of using the Soul Set has exceeded our expectations.
So, in this stage of relic development, besides conventional relics, we still paired them with sets to create unique relics. You can guess which one is the unique relic based on the following picture, and what effect it will have when paired with our new set "melee magician set".
As it should be, apart from new content development, we have not fallen behind in optimization either.
【Game Experience Optimization】
In addition to the most basic game performance optimization, our optimization direction still focuses on the suggestions of Magicians. We summarize and organize your feedback, and then make targeted adjustments.
●Shortcut Room
We don't know if you still remember the "shortcut" feature we mentioned earlier. After announcing this feature, we started updating and iterating the shortcut room.
Nowadays, shortcut rooms also have their own exclusive scenes~
●New skin
In the early stages of the game's launch, we were constantly receiving suggestions from players who wanted more skins.
Now the new skin is here! You can guess what the new skin looks like through the image~
Tip: Judging from his suit, he really looks like a very familiar person~
●More difficulty level
Regarding the difficulty of the game, we have always received requests from players for higher difficulty levels, and we have also considered exploring new difficulty levels through more diverse game mechanisms. However, due to the relatively tight development time and the need to balance the values of spells, monsters, and other aspects when adding new mechanisms, we can only try our best to do this part. More efforts will still be focused on the development of Chapter 5 and the improvement and enrichment of various functions in the game. At the same time, we hope that all Magicians can experience more and exchange more suggestions on issues of game with us. We will work together with everyone to make the game more interesting.
【News】
After multiple discussions, we believe that the development of the game is about to come to an end. In the coming period, we will continue the game development through a combination of development and testing.
●Regarding Updates
Due to our decision to develop and test simultaneously, in the coming months, we will need to make adjustments to existing content based on testing feedback while creating new content. The official version is expected to be launched in November this year. Hope Magicians to wait patiently for good news!
●Regarding linkage
Recently, we are still preparing for collaboration and planning to collaborate with some works such as "***", "***", "***", etc. (please allow us to keep the specific game works and linkage content confidential for now). At that time, their game elements will appear in Magicraft. Please look forward to it and also could discuss it in the comment~
Eventually this developer log ends here to say goodbye to everyone! If you have any suggestions, you can raise them in the comment or go to our Discord community (Discord：https://discord.gg/EzqyxnRn) for discussion!
