The Fogtown gang is thrilled to be heading to PAX West in Seattle, WA on Sept. 4th - 7th!

Yes! One of our very favorite gaming expos, and Fogtown will be part of it for the first time ever.
We won't be on the main floor with all the other new and upcoming games, but in a special exhibit on the 3rd floor of the Convention Center's Summit building. We're part of the FMV Zone: a combination of an interactive museum and a live play stage, all devoted to the genre of FMV games (like ours! Except we might be the only one there with puppets).
In the FMV Zone, you'll find The Fogtown Experience: several of the core team members, props and puppets from the game and series, interactive demonstrations of our virtual production filming process, and stations set up for the public to try out the game!

We'll also be part of a couple rather big panels while at PAX, and one is all about the history of FMV games (past, present, and future) called Pixels, Performance, and Paradox. Our creative director for Fogtown, Sean Parker, co-hosts this panel alongside FMV scholar Jackie Stargrove. That's Sunday, Sept. 6th at 10:30am in the Frog Theater (also on Level 3 of the Summit Building), and features in-person panelists like:
Jane Jensen, writer and creator of the Gabriel Knight series
Robert Holmes, composer of Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers, The Beast Within: A Gabriel Knight Mystery, and Gray Matter
Lorelei Shannon, designer & writer of Phantasmagoria: A Puzzle of Flesh and writer & co-designer of King's Quest VII
Joining us remotely will be:
Roberta & Ken Williams, the founders of Sierra On-Line
Aaron Conners and Chris Jones, co-writers and designers of several Tex Murphy games including Under a Killing Moon and The Pandora Directive (and Chris played Tex himself throughout the series)!
There will also be some pretty fun little announcements about Fogtown at the panel. Something something The Fat Man... something something Skywalker... ahem, I'm sure we'll see some of you at PAX West!
