Season 7 is taking Arena Breakout: Infinite's gameplay in a brand new direction—Zombie Mode is officially here! Alongside this new mode, we've also made some major improvements across several areas that our players have been paying close attention to. In the second update to our concept of Arena Breakout 2.0, we remain committed to delivering a more immersive, inclusive, and engaging player experience. In the vast world of Kamona, everyone can find a gameplay style that suits them, with all game modes offering a variety of choices and paths for progression.

Brand New Zombie Mode
Many players have been really looking forward to Zombie Mode. In this update, Zombie Mode will actually introduce two modes at once: PvPvE and PvE Endless. In addition to the highly immersive zombie scenarios, we have also built a progression system around zombification to create a rich "monster-slaying and leveling-up" experience that cycles both inside and outside of raids. The introduction of mutants also brings deeper strategic depth to the Dark Zone.
The launch of Zombie Mode not only brings an entirely new immersive and sensory experience to multiple maps, but it is also a deliberate attempt to deepen combat and progression through advanced strategic choices and diverse loot mechanics.

Zombie Mode: Infected Zone
In Season 7, mutants have spread to the Farm, Valley, and Airport, bringing a more dynamic element to the classic extraction shooter experience.
Here, you'll face more than just the usual militants. These new mutants appear to have many forms and to exhibit unique behaviors. These new foes range from regular mutants to reapers that can launch corrosive ranged attacks, ambushers that will suddenly pounce and crush you, bloaters that inflict various debuffs upon explosion, breachers that charge at an astonishing speed, and the most formidable boss among them, Phobos. In addition, some Operator actions may trigger mutant horde events!
To allow players to rise to this new challenge, Zombie Mode also features all-new raid-exclusive items, such as pheromone grenades that lure mutants, flare guns to call air drops, healing smoke grenades that continuously restore HP, and various new stimulants. We've also added new containers, new mission mechanics (complete in-raid Exterminations to unlock loot crates that every squad member can open), as well as new weather mechanics to further enrich the in-raid experience. As an S7 limited-time benefit, the key point cost for all maps in the Heavy Infected Zone has been standardized at 2 points, while the rewards remain on par with those of the Forbidden Zone.

Zombie Mode: Infected Area also introduces an independent out-of-raid growth system: Zombie Research. Collect and extract zombie samples from raids, which can be used to activate and upgrade research points. The unlocked abilities will be permanently effective in the Infected Area mode.

Zombie Endless Mode
We're also launching a zombie-based PvE experience—Zombie Endless Mode. A single team of 1 to 4 players will enter, choose a class, claim a loadout, and survive as long as possible on a battlefield with an ever-escalating threat level. Various random missions and weapons will spawn during the raid. You can also upgrade weapons and unlock zombie countermeasure enhancement abilities in combat.
Endless Mode features an independent out-of-raid growth system. Accumulate merits to upgrade your abilities, ensuring every challenge contributes to your growth. We hope this mode will provide a gameplay experience distinctly different from Tactical Ops, focusing on the survival challenge and the fun of monster-slaying.

Renewed Gameplay and Experience
In addition to the brand-new Zombie Mode, the original classic game modes and base content will continue to be improved with each update. In Season 7, we aim to further improve the in-raid highlights while making combat more satisfying and less demanding. In addition to progression content tied to Zombie Mode, we've also added deeper progression systems for masteries and the Workbench. Furthermore, crucial core elements such as weapon modifications, firing range, and headshot rewards have been further optimized based on player feedback.

Brand New In-Raid Field Merchant Mechanic
In Season 7, in-raid merchants will appear as a brand-new mechanic in both the main game and zombie infected zone modes. During a raid, visit the Field Merchant to sell some of the supplies you've looted to save backpack space, or try your luck and purchase mystery boxes. As you build favor through trading, the merchant may also provide you with highly valuable battlefield and item intel, helping you uncover greater wealth and rewards. Low-priced mystery cargo purchased from the Field Merchant offers more stable overall returns, while high-priced mystery cargo has much more polarized results, with a chance to make a fortune but also a significant risk of loss. Weigh your options carefully, Operators. If you plan to buy high-priced mystery cargo, we recommend gathering key intel in advance to improve your chances of turning a profit.
The Field Merchant can also be found in Zombie Endless Mode. Spend zombie tokens to purchase supplies and zombie countermeasures, providing more ways to handle prolonged combat.
While widening the range of supplies available to players and introducing new forms of in-raid loot, Field Merchants also add more elements of decision-making and unpredictability to every raid.

Continuous Mastery System Upgrades
We introduced the mastery system in Season 6 and received feedback and suggestions from you. In Season 7, we've built upon this by adding three season core masteries: 1. Acoustic Earpads: Reduces the sound-blocking effect of helmets. 2. Tactical Belt: Expands your pocket by 4 1×1 slots, both inside and outside of raids. 3. Hidden Compartment: Reveals secret compartments when searching certain containers.
Core masteries don't consume points and can be unlocked by completing the corresponding season missions. You can equip one at a time, and they reset every season.
The addition of core masteries further deepens the strategic depth of the mastery system, providing more distinct and differentiated choices for various playstyles. Additionally, some adjustments have been made to regular masteries. The Last Stand combat mastery has been added, which significantly reduces horizontal recoil and weapon spread when the head/chest/overall HP falls below a certain threshold. We've also removed the Parkour survival mastery and moved the Quick Seal combat mastery to the Survival mastery category.
Finally, we've added a new feature to save custom point allocation presets. You can save, rename, and delete presets, making it easy to switch flexibly for different modes and maps.

Combat and Weapon Updates
In Season 7, we've made a few changes to combat based on past match data and player feedback. The overall TTK has been appropriately lengthened, while headshots now offer slightly greater rewards relative to body shots. The effective range of weapons has also been increased.
As for weapons, we will expand our weapons and combat items in every season. Two new assault rifles have joined the weapon pool. The A545 assault rifle is a brand-new weapon with extremely high firepower and a high rate of fire, while the AK15SC is a new choice in the 7.62×39 caliber.
This season introduces the brand-new season kit mechanic. Season kits will fundamentally change corresponding weapons. For example, the M110 binary trigger that fires two shots per pull gives the M110 a highly threatening damage output. The MPX Vulcan barrel provides the MPX with flesh damage ammo branch options. The FAL burst kit can upgrade the FAL's firepower from "mid-low" to "high" at the cost of a slightly lower rate of fire, offering a modification route for the FAL that balances stable high damage with a slightly lower rate of fire. The PCC9 fully-automatic kit brings a fully-automatic firing mode to the PCC9.
Experimental season kits are an attempt to fundamentally change the weapon experience. These kits will be removed at the end of the season, and a new batch of kits for different weapons will be introduced in the new season. We believe this mechanic and iteration method will bring a qualitative change to the playability of weapons.
In addition, the plain UMP45 will receive a series of modification parts. While they might not make it overpowered, its compact size will surely leave an "unforgettable" impression.

Continuous Updates to Classic Game Modes
Supplies Drops is being overhauled, with Version 2.0 coming in S7. Both the Squad Crate and Personal Crate will continuously expand along with the team's level, raising the maximum amount of supplies you can extract. A new in-raid terminal mechanic is also being introduced. Normal terminals can steadily accumulate XP, while covert terminals require you to hold and defend them against other squads. Successfully capturing one grants a large XP boost, but this doesn't come without risk. The purple-quality Miscellaneous Crafter is also added in this update. Once unlocked, it can be used an unlimited number of times, giving you more ways to use the miscellaneous items found in raids. Finally, air drops will be heavily deployed in the mid-to-late stages of the raid to further increase rewards. Supplies Drops 2.0 increases the number of in-raid containers and their loot yields, and optimizes respawn pacing. Overall, players can expect more frequent rewards and a smoother gameplay experience.
The rules for Warlord Tournament Phase III have also been upgraded. Encrypted files can provide a 1.5× points bonus, giving teams who have fallen behind temporarily a chance to mount a comeback. In addition to earning points for kills in the tournament, this iteration adds a Kill Leader mark. A new set of appearance rewards and titles will also be released along with the new tournament.
In terms of Tactical Ops, the four highly anticipated special forces classes from the Season 6 Hostile Sector—breacher, sniper, grenadier, and fumigator—will be deployed across all main mode maps in Season 7. While retaining the defining traits of each class, their overall threat level is lower than the previous Hostile Sector iterations, bringing more tactical variety and strategy to conventional raids.
As part of the S7 season plan, gameplay content will be adjusted this season. Hostile Sector and Distorted Valley will not be available this season. Players can sell their Hostile Sector: Solo Infiltration tickets to the contact. The red drop Chaotic Matter, previously exclusive to Distorted Valley, will be available as a drop on all maps during S7.

New Red Drop Collectibles and In-Raid Interactions, Dog Tags Unlock Multiple Interactive Animations, Right-Click to Quickly View Use of Miscellaneous Items in Storage
Several new Red Drop collectibles have been added. "Elysium," an ultra-rare Red Drop that's equal in value to Utopia, has been added to the drops in the Infected Area. Completing the zombie series missions will also guarantee acquiring "Elysium." Additionally, new collectibles such as the MRID laptop, Northern Stars, double-neck lute, and emerald jade flute will be added this season. Both the double-neck lute and emerald jade flute can actively trigger unique interactions in raids, allowing you to "play a tune" during your Golden Hour.
Dog tags are also getting a new interactive in-raid feature. Operators can now inspect the dog tags they carry during a raid, and collecting more dog tags will unlock additional interactive animations.
Additionally, miscellaneous items in Storage now have a "Check Usage" function: You can quickly view which contacts will trade the item and which Workbench formulas include it, making it much clearer to judge which supplies are worth keeping and which can be safely traded.

New Workbench Improvement Research Mode
In Season 7, the Workbench receives an update: formulas are at maximum level upon unlocking and no longer require upgrading. Material requirements for many formulas have been readjusted to a more reasonable level. More miscellaneous items have new uses; for example, pocket watches, workman's diaries, gas analyzers, etc., can now be used to craft ammo.
At the same time, we're launching the all-new Improvement Research mode. Get improvement blueprints in raids, research formulas out of raids, and equip the results to continuously unlock unique buffs throughout the season. Spend less and earn more. Examples include: - Improvement Research Result—Unexpected Surplus: Chance to offset all costs. - Improvement Research Result—First-Rate Provisions: Chance to upgrade SH65 helmets to IND70 tactical helmets.
Furthermore, this season, you can also learn formulas by visiting friends' Trophy Rooms, and the person whose formula is learned will also receive assisting blueprints, which are prioritized for use during research.

Improvement to Results System and Highlight Sharing
We continue to listen to feedback from our players regarding the results system. This season, the results screen will display the damage dealt and received by both you and your opponent during the 30 seconds leading up to your elimination, providing a clearer and more accurate understanding of the fight and making combat analysis much clearer.
After meeting certain conditions on the results screen, operators can now share highlights from their raid to the World Channel. Triggering Highlight Sharing will post highlights in an image-and-text format, preserving your own battlefield memories. The Legend rank is also getting a visual upgrade. Operators who reach 30 stars will have their nicknames displayed in gold in the chat, making their prestige even more unmistakable.

Basic Control Experience Optimizations
For the basic control experience, the Sprint button buffering logic has been optimized, reducing the occurrence of the Sprint button getting stuck. The consistency between first- and third-person perspectives has also been further improved to prevent exploiting specific cover and leaning to block the head hitbox.

S7 will showcase substantial gameplay expansion, while also focusing on deepening core systems and refining smaller details for a smoother gameplay experience. In addition to the features outlined above, a lot of smaller improvements will be rolled out with this update. For more specifics, please refer to the complete patch notes below. Thank you to every operator for your continued support.

All-New Modes
Zombie Mode: Infected Area
1. The maps available are Farm (Heavy Infected Area), Valley (Infected Area), and Airport (Heavy Infected Area). These will replace Farm (Forbidden Zone), Valley (Lockdown Zone), and Airport (Forbidden Zone), respectively.
Spend Koen to enter the mode an unlimited number of times.
Note! The garrison units on the map are primarily zombie mutants. Operators can gear up freely. Zombie Mode: Infected Area is a PvPvE gameplay experience. It is recommended to play in a squad to familiarize yourself with the map and enemy settings of Zombie Mode.

2. Mutant Types:
- Normal Mutants: These are the most common mutant residents in the area. After being infected by the virus and fully transformed, the host loses all reason, pain perception, and fear. Wearing the clothes they died in, they hunt for any living creatures with a fresh scent, tearing at their targets with stiff yet tireless hands.
- Reapers: These tall, gaunt individuals known as reapers can spew their mutated tissue fluid, using the slime to corrode and damage targets from a distance. Attacks from different variants carry the following effects:
Green Reaper: Slime creates a temporary acid pool that deals damage.
Yellow Reaper: Slime forms a swampy area on the ground that applies a slow effect.
Gray Reaper: Slime evaporates into smoke, obstructing vision.
- Ambushers: Once they spot a target, they will suddenly leap forward, suppress the target, and continuously attack without ever letting go.
- Bloaters: These moving tumors are bloated and slow, yet they pose an immense threat. There are three variants of such mutants. When they explode, they deal damage and also cause the following effects:
Green Bloater: The explosion splash applies a temporary poison effect.
Yellow Bloater: The explosion splash applies a temporary slow effect.
Gray Bloater: The explosion creates a blinding flash.
- Breachers: Despite their massive size, they possess a terrifying charge speed, easily sending obstacles in their path flying with a single swing of their limbs. Once they reach their chosen victim, they will use their heavy hammer to suppress the target and deliver continuous savage blows.
- Phobos: It is a member of the breachers, but it possesses power that ordinary breachers do not have. Beneath its heavy tactical armor is a remarkably tough and robust body capable of withstanding unimaginable firepower. After taking substantial damage, it will tear off that armor and return to the battlefield in a far more enraged state.

3. Infected Area Weather:
Farm (Heavy Infected Area): Added night rain, night, fog, sunny, and rain.
Valley (Infected Area): Added night rain, night, fog, sunny, and rain.
Airport (Heavy Infected Area): Added night rain, night, cloudy, sunny, and rain.

4. New Missions and Mutant Hordes:
Added mode-exclusive in-raid missions. Completing them will unlock loot crate rewards. Completing a standard Extermination unlocks a loot crate that each player can open once. Completing a large-scale Extermination unlocks large loot crates that each player can open twice.
Special mechanics are active in raids. Actions such as shooting special vehicles may trigger mutant horde events.

5. Zombie Research
- Players can obtain zombie samples in raids through the Infected Area mode. Once extracted, zombie samples can be consumed to activate zombie research points. The upgraded research points can be utilized within the Infected Area.
- Lines connecting research points indicate their activation relationships. Activate prerequisite research points to unlock the following ones. If a research point has multiple prerequisites, you only need to activate 1 of them.
- Activated research points cannot be reset, so please choose carefully.

6. In-Raid Mechanics
- In-Raid Merchant: There is 1 merchant per raid, and the merchant is available for interaction 5 minutes after the raid starts. You can trade with the merchant. Both buying and selling items will accumulate transaction volume, and reaching a specific transaction amount will unlock intel.
- New Containers: Shipping containers, vending machines, oily clue containers, and other zombie-exclusive containers. Killing zombies has a chance to drop body bags and zombie miscellaneous items.

7. New Zombie Mode Mission Line
There are 40 missions in total, featuring a separate mission tab and stage rewards. The 40 Infected Zone missions are divided into: Stage 1 with 15 missions, Stage 2 with 15 missions, and an Independent Stage with 10 missions. The Independent Stage is the "Zombie Endless Mode Exclusive Line."

Zombie Endless Mode
The Airport map is available. Spend Koen to enter the mode an unlimited number of times. A single team of 1 to 4 players enters. Choose a corresponding class at the start, and an initial loadout will be issued based on the chosen class. It is recommended to play this mode in a squad. If an operator unfortunately goes down, they will enter a permanently downed state. The raid ends when all team members are dead or have opted to extract actively. Survive as long as possible to earn higher merit. Accumulating merit can unlock abilities outside of raids. These abilities are only effective in Endless Mode.

1. In-Raid Mechanics:
As the raid progresses and missions are completed, the in-raid threat level will continuously rise. The quantity and strength of mutants will gradually increase with the level, and the merit earned will also increase correspondingly.

2. In-Raid Merchant and Growth
Spend zombie tokens at the in-raid merchant to purchase supplies and zombie countermeasures.
Purchasing zombie countermeasures from the merchant allows you to draw in-raid exclusive countermeasures.
By completing extermination missions, you can obtain keys to enter locked rooms and interact with weapon cases, giving you a chance to draw and equip more powerful weapons.

3. Out-of-Raid Growth
You can level up your Endless Mode growth level by accumulating merits. Every level up will unlock a brand new ability, which will permanently help you survive longer in Endless Mode.

Zombie Endless Mode Player Exclusive Ability: Kick
Press the default key "~" to use it. It consumes stamina to knock back mutants in front of you.
System Updates
New Core Masteries
Core masteries are different from normal masteries. They reset every season, have no level restrictions, consume no points, and can be unlocked by completing the corresponding missions. You can only equip 1 core mastery at a time. The effective scenarios for core masteries are the same as normal masteries. They are active in all modes except Arena Mode, Covert Ops Mode, and Zombie Endless Mode. Three new core masteries have been added this season:
1. Acoustic Earpads: Reduces the sound-blocking effect of helmets.
2. Tactical Belt: Expands your pocket by 4 1×1 slots, both inside and outside of raids.
3. Hidden Compartment: When searching gym bags, suitcases, and storage cases, you can discover hidden compartments inside.

Normal Mastery Updates
Added the Last Stand combat mastery: Significantly reduces horizontal recoil and firing shake when the head/chest/overall HP falls below a certain threshold.
Removed the Parkour survival mastery, and moved the Quick Seal combat mastery to the survival mastery category.

Mastery System: Preset Build
Similar to the loadout preset builds in Storage, the mastery system now offers a custom point allocation build save feature. Custom builds can be saved, renamed, and deleted.

Trophy Room Updates
In past seasons, we received a lot of feedback and suggestions regarding the Workbench, with hopes that it could be more useful and interesting.
For that reason, in Season 7, the Workbench will undergo a minor rework and be part of a brand new gameplay feature.
Minor Workbench Rework
1. Formulas are at maximum level upon unlocking—they no longer need to level up as the Workbench does.
2. Material requirements for many formulas have been readjusted to a more reasonable level. More miscellaneous items have new uses.
3. A new tactical item, the M290 stun grenade, can now be crafted.
New Season Gameplay: Improve Research
1. New Research Material "Improvement Blueprint": Can be obtained from active missions and regular raids. More likely to appear in document boxes, clothing, and drawers.
2. Use a blueprint to research a formula, then equip the result to gain a unique buff.
3. You can earn assisting blueprints by learning and sharing formulas with friends. These are prioritized during research.
4. Research results will reset with each season. The research you conduct in a season only benefits you during that particular season.
Other Trophy Room Improvements
1. The Collection Room level limit has been increased by 2, and the red drop storage limit has been raised to 999.
2. The red dot marking new dog tags is now restricted to the Dog Tag Shelf. It will no longer be transferred to the Trophy Room's main screen or the Lobby entrance.
3. The volume of background music will automatically be lowered when you're in multiplayer, making your teammates' voices clearer.
4. The cover of the "Spark" record has been remade, making it more artistic.

Equipment Improvements
1. Corrected the overexposure that occurred when a tactical flashlight was used to illuminate a surface at close range on high graphics settings.
Other In-Raid Improvements
New Miscellaneous Items
1. Added several new red drop collectibles, including "Elysium," the MRID laptop, Northern Stars, double-neck lute, and emerald jade flute.

New In-Raid Interactions
1. Inspecting Dog Tags: Players can collect dog tags in raids. When you have a dog tag on you (in a chest rig, pocket, backpack, or case), right-click on the dog tag icon to see a new button, "Inspect." Clicking that will trigger the inspection animation for that dog tag.
2. Interacting with Dog Tags: Clicking the "Interact" button will trigger an inspection animation for multiple dog tags.
There are five Interact animations in total, determined by the number of dog tags in your backpack.

New Troop Types in Main Mode
Additionally, the four special forces (breachers, grenadiers, and fumigators) from the Hostile Sector have been added to several maps in main mode. Their strength overall is a weakened version of their Hostile Sector counterparts.
Other Updates & Improvements
Results Info Optimization
Damage data for both you and your opponent will be displayed starting 30 seconds before elimination. Containing a total of 25 data points, it will focus on damage and ammo/armor match-up stats and further improve your ability to recover from attacks.

Mission Screen Improvements
You can now view details of locked missions if they're in a stage that is currently unlocked. However, you can't view the details of missions in locked stages.

Activity Mission Progress Bonus
The four progress rewards for Battle Pass activity missions now include a bonus reward from time-limited events.

Sharing Highlights
1. After meeting certain conditions during a raid, you can share the highlight from the raid results screen and send a text and image message to the World Chat channel. Other players will be able to like this message.
2. Your history of highlights and the number of likes you receive from sharing them will be added to the Highlight Records.

High Rank Visuals
Visual markers for players with the Legend rank have been added to chats:
1. Your specific rank will be displayed next to your Legend rank icon.
2. Players who've reached the Legend 30-Star rank will have their chat nickname displayed in gold.

Equipment Restrictions
For Lockdown Zone (including Infected Area) raids, equipment value will be capped at 900,000. Additionally, you can only bring in gear whose protection level and penetration level are 5 or below.
