The first major content update for Bolt Bot is out now!
How To Start
If you have already beaten the Boss in World 2, the first time you load the game and enter the shop, a cutscene of W3-1 unlocking will appear. If you have yet to beat the World 2 Boss, world 3 will simply unlock naturally after you do so.
What has been added?
Below is everything that has been added in the Spooky Sparks update-
• 12 New levels to beat.
• 1,190 Pieces of Scrap to Accumulate
• 196 Viruses to destroy and Squish.
• 21 Microchips to find.
• 12 Collectable Cards.
• 2 Music tracks for Bit's and Bot's.
• 2 Spray Paints for Bolts appearance.
• 2 Staff Members to hire.
• 7 Golden Tills to smash.
• New Tools and Upgrades for Bolt such as Flame Boots that launch Bolt into the air and a construction hat that powers up various contraptions.
• New section of the Hub World has been added.
Gameplay Reminders For Returning Players
• Press Key E or Xbox Y to interact with things such as Switches, Ladders, Chests, Bolts rocket etc
• Portal objects must be rolled into to be destroyed. Press Key CTRL or Xbox B to roll.
• To inspect what upgrades Bolt has on press Tab or the Xbox directional pad. (This will also show some controls in game)
• You can change the tools you have collected by pressing the keyboard number keys or the Xbox directional pad.
(When the game is fully released there will be button prompts to make it easier to get back into the game after a break. I'm currently still figuring out what other controller support to add to the game in future)
Difficulty
The difficulty has been increased in World 3. If you find any part too hard, please let me know through email or the steam community discussions. There is two levels in particular i would love to hear your thoughts on. These are W3-B2 and the W3 Boss. Personally, i find W3-B2 to be very easy and think the difficulty should be increased, but i want to hear your thoughts about it before i do so.
