Hello Elengardians! Here is another update with some improvements, including AI, balancing, and bugfixes.
List of changes:
- Improvements:
- periodical autosave
- improved some animations (boar's dodge, 1 attack of weapon and shield stance, weak stagger in some stances, defensive stance)
- added key bindings for Switch Cam Mode and UI Mode
- AI:
- improved AI to possibly attack when recovering stamina and its enemy is attacking with a bow or casting a spell
- low intelligence creatures (like wild animals) now attack more often even with low stamina
- increased awareness range of enemies when an ally of them is attacked
- Bugfixes:
- rare issue with ability configuration parameters on the configuration panel not synchronizing correctly with the real parameters when opening the configuration panel
- clicking to use and ability on Free Look Mode was also selecting a target
- being staggered while force pushing was not starting the cooldown. Now the cooldown was starts on the cast event, not the ability end
- corrected display text of some keyboard keys
- no equip sounds in character creation after selecting a preset
- Balancing:
- Distracting orb now more easily distracts beasts
- Feyzir projectile: increased plasma cost, decreased min conjuring time for max power
- Increased Feyzir Orb damage (from 20 to 30), increased max power to 2x, increase plasma cost for max power. If you have a save with this spell on the bar it will still show max power 1.5, just removed it and assign it again to show 2.
- Reduced Plasma Regeneration
- slightly nerfed dagger swing attack damage
- reduced xp scale (from 1.8 to 1.5)
- increased cost to increase combat skills with higher scores
- Other changes
- changed default key binding for switch cam mode to Numpad Enter
- changed default key binding for temporarily switching to UI Mode to Left Alt.
- changed default walk key binding to right control (walk is now a toggle). This may not be updated if you changed some keys, so it may still be left alt for you after the update. Remember you can change all key bindings.
