It has been now one week since we launched Paper Animal Adventure, and I wanted to say thank you to everyone who supported the project!:)
I've spent the last few days with fixing several bugs, some smaller, some bigger, and already uploaded 6 smaller updates, with fixes, localization improvements or small Quality-of-life stuff:D
I also wanted to ask you guys for a favor: If you enjoy the game, please consider leaving a review! This helps me (and the algorithm) a lot!!:D The game is currently sitting at 58 reviews (with about 98% positive) and it would be amazing if we could reach 100!:D
Now, some of you might have been wondering how the Early Access phase will continue. There will be a total of 4 big updates over the Early Access phase - I'll introduce 2 of them here. I'll upload a roadmap showing all of the updates next week!:)
I'm a big fan of involving the community in the development process, so I thought I'd let you guys decide on what update you want next!!:)
These are two possible updates available:
Plus Update
Rewind Update
I'll make a poll where you can vote if you want the Plus Update or Rewind Update in the upcoming days. No matter what update gets voted on, the other one will also be added afterwards. So independently on which update will come first, the final game will have the content of both!:)
The first update will be released in around 2 - 3 months💪

Rewind Update
Ever wondered what‘s in the west part of the Gear Shrine? You can find out yourself after rescuing Sir Bearington now with the Rewind Update! Use the Rewind Clock to start a Rewind Run, where you’ll keep your current heroes, stats and inventory and dive back into an alternative reality, where you can experience the second half of the story!
An alternate version of each of the 8 areas, featuring tougher enemy variants, alternate aesthetics, new music and more powerful bosses!
Uncover the fate of Kael and Lillith, and discover how you and Sir Bearington are entangled in this story!
How to vote
‼️To keep things fair only people who actually own the game will be able to vote‼️
