Hello there! Not much to see here, just a bunch of tiny things I didn't get to add on the 1.0 release that I've had time to play around with -including two easy to get achievements!
The main addition is the "DM Menu" (enabled via the cheat DUNGMASTER) that allows the PC player to use the keyboard numpad 1/2/3 keys to open a set of menus from where you can quickly adjust settings for the VR player (including basic VR preferences like the height calibration, turn modes, basic match settings), some basic scene control (reset scene, go back to menu, start a match or go to the firing range) and also trigger a bunch of events on a match (like forcing an insectoid to spawn on the nearest corpse, setting off an alarm that shows the VR player's location to the Mandrillians, or blowing up the nearest barrel with line of sight to the Robot).
One of the reasons I added this is for public showcases of the game where a bunch of players are expected to play one after another; explaining to everyone how to adjust their player preferences within their wrist menu could get slow pretty fast.
I also added achievements for two pretty common occurrences: trying to fire your starting handgun with no bullet in the chamber and ripping a pipe off a wall to use it as a weapon.
Firing Range scores now get uploaded to Steam leaderboards even if you don't get to finish the challenge in time. The text in the screens now reflect the fact that finishing before the time runs out is what will unlock the reward.
Finally, there's some minor tweaks like adjusting some of the crossbow triggers for loading, gripping etc, to hopefully make it less awkward to operate, and increasing the Robot's HP modifier max value to from 5x to 10x
See you soon!
