So, I'mma start this off by saying that this so-called discovery was that the game ACTUALLY DOES run on windows 11! And it did the ENTIRE TIME. For some reason, it just didn't like my new computer at first for some reason (who the hell knows), but it's FINE NOW apparently.
This game still will not be receiving updates however, as I still don't actually have the source files for the game, and I don't give enough of a damn to find a way to recover them in some way.
So, what's the future of our favorite mutant shapeshifting pile of white sludge?
