Hello Hockey Fans!
Light the Lamp Hockey continuing to make strides in the gameplay department! I do appreciate all the feedback I have received and am working on improving the game in the aspects that you all are yearning for!
First up!
More Dynamics! - battles and puck bounces which includes fumbling passes are now enabled. They are seperated into the different difficulties as they do indeed make life much harder for the player.
Easy - Least amount of added dynamics. Basically the game as it was in Version 1.09.
Normal- will include more deflections, loss of puck control, slap pass ricochets. Blocking and more!
Unfair- Full dynamics are present. tons of puck bobbling, deflecting, poking the puck into empty space. fumbling passes etc. (this does also go to the CPU so not as unfair as stated.)
Skating: Smoothed out the skating. there is a lot more weight to your character. It was a bit too floaty before.
AI improvements: I have worked a lot on the AI in the past couple of weeks and I'm ready to release that update. the best way to see improvement is through position lock and passing to them.
Some notable improvements are...
-Ruthless forechecking
-more aware of opposing players.
-using the boards more.
-Defense use Clappers more (old time HOCKEY!)
-Goalies are more active.
-Better one-timers.
Presentation: went through some menus and improved some transitions.
Goal Songs: Each Home team will have a song randomly selected that is played when they score.
Away teams - Well you get to enjoy that audience reaction when you get a goal.
