Devlog #2

Hello everyone,
Some of you might think the project is abandoned or something.. but it's not.
Last summer I refactorized the entire game.
Since then I started adding new content.
I won't show everything now because I (hopefully) will release another devlog and the demo/Prologue in February.

Here is a short list with what the features I already added or are work in progress:

Let's start with the "Renovation" part:

• Breakable furniture like benches and metal cabinets
• Paintable walls - choose what paint to use either from the paint buckets or from UI
• Floors and ceilings have a texture for now, but later will replace it with a proper wooden floor model or something
• Trash - can be collected, as the broken parts from furniture, and earn some money when putting in the trash bin

Now regarding the shop:

• Buy fruniture like shelves and place them inside the shop from the laptop
• Place objects either on walls (ex paintings) or on the shelves
• Receive customers - not all customers who enter the shop will buy an item or items
• Meet customers at the checkout:
• - if they want to buy something, take the money and give change (if any)
• - if they want to sell something, inspect the item and if you decide to buy it, pay them

As you know, the game has a deposit auctions part:

• Now all NPCs can talk using different voices and can do it dynamically, depending on the current bid
• The items inside the deposits are now based on your level (you won't find Mona Lisa inside a 5$ deposit :D ). And the starting price of the deposit is based on the value of the deposit (there's a chance to start at 5-30% of the value)

You can go to an auction by using the laptop, where you will also pay a small fee.

Now for the work in progress features:

• Online auctions (for items, not deposits)
• Dirty objects restoration (working for coins already, but I want to add different items too)
• Broken objects restoration
• Online shop for used parts (needed to repair broken objects)
• Online market to sell objects

All the items or furniture bought online will arrive in boxes.
