hey y'all
here's an amusing lazy hotfix
which contains some cool changes and little additions
LET'S GET RIGHT INTO THE NOTES OF WHAT WAS ADDED AND MODIFIED!
automatically subscribe to custom maps
so a problem that's plagued certain servers is the use of custom maps, as if you did not have it then you'd be kicked off or were not able to join the server at all
BUT NOW
that has been fixed! Go crazy on custom maps and people (or you) will automatically subscribe to them without fearing of being disconnected
clothes, hair and a new facial style
dress your self, smear gel over your hair and trim your mustache with new LOOKS
the 'Estate Complete'; comprising of 'Estate Suit' | 'Estate Pants' - you surely mean and stand on business
the 'Tough Hair' - a mix of a Slickback and a Pompadour hairstyle
the 'Rico Stache' - give yourself an 80s look
apple and penguin
MACOS AND LINUX PORTS ARE OFFICIALLY OUT
and they're quite experimental, let me know how they both run, you apple eaters and penguin enjoyers!
then the fixes and other things
FIXED
first person view of infected (slow and fast)
scoreboard not showing properly due to certain conditions in infected
prone equip animation playing after spawning when died in proning state
custom maps (that were not made in level editor) being picky
certain settings causing problems on different devices which when applied, would halt the game from loading (meaning stuck on black screen at the start of the game has been fixed)
'workshop priority' file saving getting stuck and halting the workshop from proceeding
other things
IMPROVED
performance when someone dies (more to be done in survival eventually due to the loot dropping)
explosion performance (no more spikes hopefully)
when a custom map is not installed it will display with a red outline in the server list, HOWEVER you can still join it (and will try to subscribe to it)
I might have done some other stuff but honestly I can't remember off my mind
OK THAT IS AWESOME
enjoy another lazy hotfix
IF PROBLEMS DON'T SURFACE NOW THEN I WILL BEGIN PORTING MAC AND LINUX BUILDS, AND THEN START WORKING ON THE NEXT UPDATE
