A bunch of improvements on the menu today, alongside a freeze that has been a mystery until now!
Improvements
Find Familiar - Your Familiar now spawns next to you on Map Start, like Maple does with Coco. They are immune to permadeath or grievous injury, and they can be dismissed at any time during the map to escape from the chapter.
Coco's Nut - Giving Coco the Golden Nut now unlocks the Midas's Nut combat art, allowing her to generate gold when defeating enemies with that art. The free levelup is also kept alongside the new effect.
Sawyer's Bodyguards - Sawyer now gets extra backup if he appears as an ally in Ch9, giving players more time on average to recruit him before he is defeated.
Samira's Dusk Dance - Reworked Samira's Grim Cadence to work as described- a single ally can be refreshed, but nearby enemies do not get their damage buffed.
Firearms Buffs - Firearms that are accessible early got a small increase to their durability and wexp gains to compensate for their rarity and to be more commonly usable throughout the earlier chapters without requiring as many grindstone uses.
Fixes
Fixed a black screen freeze that could happen upon completing a chapter if an ally was grievously wounded while holding a key. This was most commonly found in chapter 8, but has been fixed across the board.
Fixed issue where you could revive dead units by reclassing them with a promotion badge. Leave necromancy-ing to Everlast, please.
Fixed issue where Druid/Beast Stance buffs could be cleansed from Astrid with a Recover Staff. They also have new neat icons to identify them.
Fixed issue with Ciara's Enchant Cooldown not working as intended.
Fixed Animation Freeze that could happen on T.Adept Energy crits.
Fixed Lightning Ploy triggers in chapter 23.
Fixed issue where some water tiles were accessible by foot units in chapter 23.
Fixed issue where a Mercenary from Chapter 17 (Keri vers.) couldn't wield his sword. What a chump.
Fixed issue where Millenia, Kitoko, Gene and Mauve could use Promotion Badges to reclass between their advanced classes.
Fixed issue in Chapter 11-1 where a thief would use his smoke bomb in unpredictable and seemingly random ways.
Fixed issue in Chapter 10-1 where an enemy would try to warp a dead archer on the watchtower. That's just unprofessional, man...
Fixed missing Again Staff description.
This was a meaty one! I hope you're enjoying the changes!
