Hello, Dear inhabitants of this Gloomy Juncture.
MEO XL & Gamiberica
MEO XL is the biggest gaming event in Portugal. It took place at Exponor (Porto, Portugal) between November 23rd and 26th. For the first time, it hosted Gamiberica, the Iberian Games Summit—the first conference dedicated to debating the video game industry in the Iberian Peninsula. It took place on the 24th of November, organized by Indie X, IndieDevDay, and with the support of APVP - Associação de Produtores de Videojogos Portugueses.

Gamiberica strives to foster meaningful connections within the Spanish and Portuguese indie industry, facilitating collaboration among studios, investments, and talent. The establishment of a dedicated space for such interactions proves highly advantageous for all involved, thanks to the partnership between IndieX and IndieDevDay.
Gloomy Juncture at MEO XL

Gamiberica featured a showcase of 30 games from Portuguese and Spanish studios. Being my first public showcase, I was present for the entire four days. Despite initial nervousness about being a game in such a niche genre, it was heartening to witness players across all age ranges engaging with enthusiasm and persevering through every puzzle until the end of the Prologue.

I've been humbled by the amazing feedback. To everyone who visited the booth, asked about development, played Gloomy Juncture, shared an opinion, or said it was a must-buy—thank you! Your support has made it all worth it already! 💗
Stay tuned, as more exciting news is on the way!
Thanks,
Filipe
