[Major Version Update 1.0: Stardust Warriors]
At last, the much-anticipated Major Version Update "Stardust Warriors" is here!
We have a bunch of exciting content: New Heroes, Universal Mechanism, Sticker Mechanism, BR Mode, New Season, and various New Skins... Turning the page for this multi-platform next-gen platform fighter!
[New Hero: Cookie & Can]
Old Tinker’s kitten, Cookie, is a super rare male calico cat. It’s said that they were born in 1/400000 chance and are considered a symbol of luck. Grandpa Tinker is an incredibly talented handyman. Not only did he create S-17, but he also constructed Cookie's exclusive fighting Mech, "Can," which drastically improved Cookie's combat capabilities in the party arena.
However, Grandpa was unaware of Cookie’s true motivation for attending the Flash Party: The kitty wants to conquer the universe! Can he fulfill his dream?
Cookie is an Impeder Hero bolstered by the unique "Strengthens Grab & Throw" passive skill; his Skill combination has almost unmatched hampering ability in mid to long range. Cookie's Side Special is his primary Footsie skill, which covers a vast area in front of the Hero with an adjustable launching angle.
In addition to the mentioned characteristics, Cookie has a most distinctive multi-leveled Charged Cannon at his disposal while controlling Can. While the initial shot has a shorter range, medium firing rate, and lower damage, Can’s Charged Cannon can continue to charge up to 4-tiers. The Cannon fires accelerated shells delivering devastating damage at its maximum energy capacity. Of course, firing the Cannon’s fully-charged shot will cause Can to be “overloaded” and receive additional damage.
The charging mechanism of Can is highly flexible. At any point during the Charging process, you can lift the charge and resume charging whenever necessary. You can fire the Charged Cannon immediately at any charging stage to impede or finish off your opponent, depending on your quick decision-making under changing circumstances.
[Hero’s Universal Mechanism]
The major update “Stardust Warriors” introduces the revolutionary “Hero Style Enhancement,” categorizing Heroes into four distinct types: Assaulter, Impeder, Power House, and All-rounder. Heroes are assigned corresponding Universal Mechanisms according to their type, adding more variety to their gameplay.
The Assaulter Heroes can cancel an action after landing a specific attack; the Impeder Heroes strengthen the next Grab & Throw after hitting the shield a certain number of times; Power House Heroes increase damage according to their current KO Score; and All-rounder Heroes charge three directional gauges - Up/Mid/Down - with attacks of corresponding directions, and when all three are full, they can unleash a more powerful Super Neutral Special, which starts the charging process over again after release.
[New Sticker System]
The "Stardust Warriors" update has increased the maximum Hero Level to Lv.10. Sticker as a replacement Skill will be adjusted to Normal Stickers and Colorful Stickers. Generic sticker slots are unlocked as the Level escalates, providing various ability boosts for heroes, such as Weight increase, Special Damage increase, Movement Speed increase, Damage to Shields increase, etc.
Also, Colorful Stickers slots will be unlocked for Heroes at Levels 7 and 10, respectively. Heroes will have 4 Colorful Stickers that grant Heroes various passive Skills without altering their original Skill, allowing for a range of diverse play styles.
[New Skin Set: Tales of Mountains and Seas]
Legend has it that the Pamir, a crescent-shaped mountain range, lies at the edge of the desert beyond the Northwest Ocean. This most sacred mountain holds immense divine power. Therefore, the past Warrior Saints safeguarded the gate to the holy mountain, dispelling the evil.
To become a Warrior Saint, one must possess exceptional martial prowess and moral character. Only a few chosen by the Rain Dragon have the power to transform into the spirit dragon and overcome insurmountable challenges.
In the distant Orient, the leader of Nine Li plotted to terrorize the Central Plains with his giant scythe and powerful Spells, determined to dominate the world. Wherever the Nine Li Overlord went, thunder and lightning turned people's lives into misery and suffering. No tribe could withstand his violent invasion, and they were forced to retreat to the foot of Mount Pamir as their last stand. The chaos of battle would soon consume the peace that had endured for thousands of years.
At the pivotal instant, the Warrior Saint of Mt. Pamir transformed into the spirit dragon and conjured the Holy Beast: Sarvainai, to defeat the Silhouette of Nine Li together.
Who will prevail in this momentous battle? Amidst the Mountains and Seas, the legend continues...
New Skin Set: Tales of Mountains and Seas will be available starting January 10th!
[Mikko’s New Legendary Skin: Sarvainai the Holy Beast]
Sarvainai is the fifth offspring of the dragon.
Warrior Saint of Mt. Pamir: Tong has summoned this awe-inspiring holy beast to repel the Silhouette of Nine Li and his army. Sarvainai, who wields the immense power of the scorching sun, is ready to bring a new dawn to the battlefield.
Mikko’s New Legendary Skin: Sarvainai the Holy Beast will be available on January 10th!
[Tong’s New Skin: Warrior Saint of Mt. Pamir]
It is believed that the Rain Dragon, the Mountain God of Mount Pamir, will bestow its power upon the individual with the most formidable martial skills and the purest heart, transforming them into the Warrior Saint and protector of Mount Pamir.
Underwent perilous trials and training, Tong has finally attained the divine power that enables her to transform into a Rain Dragon. From that day forward, she will be intimately bound to the sacred mountain, watching over the vast expanse of Cathay and sending timely breezes and precipitation to ensure the country's great prosperity.
[Thanatos’s New Skin: Silhouette of Nine Li]
In the far East, the leader of Nine Li controls his army with horrendous spells and charms. He ruthlessly sought to dominate the world and dip his hand in the Central Plains, leaving misery and suffering in his wake with thunder and lightning.
It is said that his colossal storm-summoning scythe is still unrivaled to this day. Let’s see if he can find an equal adversary beneath Mt. Pamir.
[New Skin for Cookie & Can: Evil Dr. Cookie]
Driven by element K, Dr. Cookie became increasingly paranoid and set his mind on solving the energy crisis of the metropolis through destruction.
Can the challengers defeat him and his RoboT-Rex VX-001, restoring his senses?
[Macalon’s New Legendary Skin: RoboT-Rex VX-001]
Dr. Cookie has created RoboT-Rex VX-001, a full-metal dragon with tremendous combat power, to wreak havoc on the Metropolis. Modeled after Macalon, the Metropolis' most powerful creature, the RoboT-Rex is armed with radioactive charged cannons full of Element K and a thruster on its back capable of causing catastrophic damage.
Maybe he can create some fun-sized toys after all the hassle; the kids are sure to love them!
