in summery, HOPE was having some issues from the last patch, we fixed them all, and added some more goodies for you guys!
it took quite a bit of work, many many hours of work, but now HOPE VR is up and running! better than ever, and here are the changes that this patch offers:
- NEW Zen Platform System for meditation
- NEW Zen Platform Breathing Techniques/Styles (Earth, water, fire, space), each with different timings, effects and locations
- NEW TRAILER
- HOPE has a new look
- MORE NEW LOCATIONS!!
- we removed the gun and archery game, and focused all of our attention on the rhythm boxing game, and have tweaked it heavily, both in programming and visuals
- NEW Rhythm Boxing game, MUCH better than how it was, more responsive, and visually appealing levels that react to the song
Note: we pushed 4 levels into this patch and are currently working on more levels, if you have any feedback on the boxing game let us know so we can tweak and adjust accordingly
- NEW Chaos Platform menu
- NEW DAILY REWARDS! unlocking new abilities and locations is now possible through this system, which we can keep building on as develop the game further
- New graphics improvements and better control over the graphics by you guys, in the game without the need to exit to the main menu.
- NEW home environment, where we plan to add more features to connect the worlds you travel to into your home environment
- NEW home environment real time system, when you log in at night, it's night time, day , it's day , etc... and the effect isn't simply a different lighting system, but a complete change of the sky, effects and sounds.
- NEW control system, we took inspiration from half life Alyx and re done the entire movement mechanic to be much more comfortable
- Fully tested and integrated the Valve Index VR headset into the game, so now we can officially say steam index supported comfortable
- we got rid of the black screen bug once and for all, tested the fix on many computers and situations, so please do report any issues you face and we'll get on fixing them straight away!
