Youkoso!
Clang, clang, crunch, scratch! We don't just play and watch games, we also listen keenly. In quite a few genres, such as horror or science fiction, sound effects are crucial parts of the gaming experience. Sengoku Dynasty lets you listen as well!
Today's fifth Insider Video is all about sound.
Great and appealing visuals in games are important, but it's the sound design that makes a game believable, authentic and realistic. A real world like medieval Japan, that comes with a fictional narrative, needs a realistic representation of the environment and all the objects that should or can be used in it.
To achieve this, sound designers are needed, and today Agnieszka from Superkami answers a few questions about how the world of Sengoku Dynasty will sound!
Now that you've heard a bit of Sengoku Dynasty, what sound - apart from the drawing of a katana - do you think belongs in this world? Tell us in the comments or on our social media channels!
