This update adds a sheriff to the game. He shows up after a few of Jake's missions are complete. Watch your back, because breaking the law can get expensive. This update also fixes some bugs, adds some quality of life changes, balance issues, a new mission, and a some hidden achievements.
Update Notes:
-Added a sheriff npc.
-The Sheriff will appear after a few of Jake's missions are completed.
-The Sheriff will attempt a traffic stop on traffic violations such as:
-Speeding, open container, transporting moonshine, reckless driving, headlights.
-You may also get apprehended for fuel theft, evasion, hit and run, obstruction, or an active warrant.
-The Sheriff will arrest if you brew moonshine near him.
-The Sheriff might let you off with a warning if you pull over, otherwise you will either get a ticket or go to jail, depending on the seriousness of your crime, or if you have an outstanding warrant.
-The Sheriff will impound your vehicle if a traffic stop leads to an arrest.
-Impounded vehicles can be released by speaking with the sheriff when he is waiting outside the impound lot.
-Physical tickets you receive should be paid off as soon as possible.
-If you evade arrest, the Sheriff will not forget, and you will get an additional evasion charge the next time you are caught, as well as a warrant for your arrest.
-Failure to pay off your tickets, or continuous evasion of arrest will lead to a raid on your home while you sleep.
-Arrest leads to a sequence of events where you are cuffed, transported to the station, booked into a holding cell, and later released.
-Police pursuit and arrest results in a complete loss of sanity.
-The Sheriff will steal any packages of Beef-a-Reeno found in an impounded vehicle.
-Added icons to inventory for consumables.
-Added new job to infuse and sell all moonshine flavors.
-Added nicotine cans to the gas station. You won't lose sanity if your nicotine levels are sufficient. You can also use them before towing a vehicle.
-Added a premium beer with better effects.
-Added a functional dumpster near the gas station for removing your unwanted junk in that area.
-Added $200 and $400 withdraw options to the ATM.
-Added two new hidden achievements.
-Added percentage to propane tank description.
-Added impact sound profiles to logs and moonshine crates.
-Added additional sound effects to the moonshine brewing process.
-Changed lotto ticket price to $15.
-Changed some golf cart sounds.
-Changed Jiggs' journal to show fruit locations for moonshine infusing.
-Changed savegames to now now preserve the time of day.
-Fix to car not dieseling when using old engine.
-Fix to i6 not saving oil properly.
-Fix to issue with Jiggs not taking money for recovery tasks.
-Fix to retrieving some items dropping instead of being retrieved from inventory.
-Fix to phone menu sometimes not updating with new vehicles and destinations.
-Fix to mission tracking tooltip getting cut off.
-Fix to an issue where Jimmy Junks could be asked to inspect your vehicle while already inspecting it.
-Fix to ongoing issue where truck interiors would appear clean without the upgraded interior.
-Fix to regular moonshine crates not being properly displayed in bar.
-Fix to second home appearing as a transport location before being purchased.
-Fix to collision sound distance with diamondback.
-Fixed tree prefab with floating branches.
-Fixed sound issue with payphone.
-Fixed an issue where a worn transmission could still make noise after parking the vehicle.
-Fixed performance issues when having a massive pile of poker chips in the pot.
-Fixed v8 turbo bolt placement.
-Driving on rotors now makes the same noise as driving on rims, and is illegal.
-Thunder and lightning should appear more often with rainy weather.
-Drunk status now lasts longer after drinking.
-Sleeping now zeros out drunk effect.
-Sleeping now reduces hydration and food levels slightly.
-Hydration levels are reduced further if you are drunk before sleeping.
-Sprinting now reduces hydration at a slightly faster rate.
-Low sanity makes you get tired slightly faster.
-Iron ore chunks are now physically smaller but still weigh a lot.
-Cans and bottles now make noise and despawn after some time.
-Simplification of some unused buildings.
-Increased battery charging rate when vehicle is running.
-Items are now released from grocery bags in a more controlled manner.
-Improved some item textures.
-Terrain+tree simplification in some areas.
