BZZZT... CRACKLE...
Cosminers HQ to all miners on board. This is a high-priority transmission. Stand by... BZZZT!
Miners, our latest scans confirm what was once speculation: life exists on Tau Ceti F. But this isn’t a moment for celebration—it’s a call to prepare. Our probes have detected massive lifeforms roaming the rocky terrain, from winged predators dominating the skies to heavily armored beasts built like battlefield tanks. Others wield their many limbs with deadly precision, striking with terrifying speed. At first, we observed. Now, we fight. Weeks of surveillance have confirmed what we feared—these creatures are not just territorial, they are hostile, attacking our teams and base infrastructure. But don’t worry. You’re Cosminers. You were prepared. And the company has your back.
The Threat We Face
Nocturnal Aggressors
These creatures thrive in darkness. Our scans confirm that their attacks intensify at night, with shifting shadows revealing the glint of predatory eyes. Their tactics vary:
- Brute force assaults on structures.
- Coordinated pack ambushes.
- Environmental adaptation, using terrain to their advantage.
Lunar Influence
Our xenobiologists believe their aggression is influenced by the phases of the moons, which affect the intensity of their attacks. Preliminary data suggests fluctuations in their activity, with some periods showing lower presence and interaction, while others exhibit heightened aggression and prolonged waves of attacks. We've also discovered that our activities seem to attract them, and we are currently studying the relationship between our environmental impact and their increased activity.
Mission Update: Mine, Survive, and Defend
Mining operations remain crucial, but survival is now equally vital. Our priority is balancing resource extraction with base fortification and personnel safety. This is no longer just about resources— it’s about thriving in the face of adversity.
A Glimpse of the Enemy...
The Call to Action
Miners, you are no longer just explorers—you are defenders. The galaxy is vast and full of unknowns, but one thing is certain: we do not turn back.
Stay vigilant. Stay strong. Are you ready to defend what we’ve built?
