For those of you who are wondering about the future development of the game, my focus is now re-aligned with the game's development after fixing the issues with mouse sensitivity. The next update v0.2.1 and will include several new features. I would really appreciate any more suggestions and ideas the community would like me to add.
What will v0.2.1 add?
Med kits
- The player will be able to purchase these at the workbench.
Grenades
- The player will be able to use grenades to help combat zombies as well as purchase them in the workbench.
Two new zombie types
- An armored version of the exploder as well as a new zombie type called mage will be added into this new update.
How long will the new update take?
My estimate is roughly 1 week to 1 week and a half. I will need appropriate time to develop and test all new features and debug where needed.
Will Survivor continue to be free?
As explained in a previous announcement, I stated that the budget I started the game with has come to an end. In order to continue development of the game as well as add more complex and interesting features, will require a stable, long-term source of income. Some of you might wonder why I have decided to put a price tag so early in the game's development and this is because I have lots of new ideas/features that I would like to put into the game. Rather than wait, collecting money now will allow me to develop faster and more complex ideas. On August 12th, Survivor will no longer be free.
Thank you to everyone who has continued to support my game, it really means a lot to me and I can't wait for you guys to see the new update!
