Hey Champs! It's update time! This is the final planned update for the free demo version of Doodle Champs, but it's a big one with plenty of fixes and quality of life updates to ensure your demo experience is doodle-tastic. 🎨
Patch notes:
- Fixed a bug where players got stuck in the settings menu.
- Fixed a bug where players couldn't proceed due to desynchronisation on slower PCs.
- Fixed a bug with the custom prompt generator.
- New & improved settings menu (settings now apply immediately).
- Chaos Mode: New UI.
- Chaos Mode: Customise Chaos Orb frequency! [Off / Low / Med / High]
- Chaos Mode: Improved animations.
- Pencil Pushers: "Watch tutorial together" feature added for party host.
- Pencil Pushers: Added missing glow behind BOSSMAN during "Buy It" animation.
- Pencil Pushers: Reduced tutorial.
- Music volume adjusted to 70% on first launch.
- Music system completely re-written.
- Art Assembly: Added Sketch Pad! (Draw on a secret pad while you wait for friends to finish).
- Art Assembly: Colour picker / eyedropper tool now works on other player's art! (Cool!).
- Art Assembly: Improved tutorial for drawing ARMS (Auto shows up before you draw too).
- Art Assembly: Timer is now set for the whole round, not per body part.
- Art Assembly: "Round Over" only shows up when the round is over. Not when you're done drawing.
And with that, we're already hard at work on the full release version of the game, including Canvas Crew mode, all 100 Steam Achievements, a complete overhaul of the inventory system, and more! ⭐ Exciting times await!
