Everpixel Tactics: Halloweener Update
New Content
- First endgame Apocalypse: Save the world from a never-ending stream of zombies, necromancers, and wights - or die trying.
- New mission types: Survive against a horde of undead and rescue patrols!
- Perk Tree: Necromancy: Thoroughly establish your dominance by raising your slain foes from the dead.
- Perk Tree: Death Knight: Use support auras to slowly drain the strength from your foes!
- Perk Tree: Mace: Specialize a merc in maces so they can excel at crowd control.
- New Feature - Potions: Chug powerful potions to turn the tide of battle - but be careful...Potions aren't cheap!
- New Feature - Traits: Characters now generate with traits that can drastically change their capabilities.
- Necromancer gear: Tis the season! Adorn necromantic robes, hoods, and staves!
- Affixes: Items can now spawn with necromancy and death knight affixes
- New Biome - Deadlands: The world can now spawn with regions of high death magic. Necromancy will be more powerful in these regions, and the dead may rise again!
- New Mob - Zombie slimes: A new type of slime that can be found in regions of high death magic. Given their undead nature, they can benefit from necromantic magic...
- New Mob - Wiener Dogs: Shiver at the terrifying howls of wiener dogs. Weens (as they're known) may enter battle and attack both friend and foe alike...
- New Mob - Dire Wiener Dogs: As if weens weren't terrifying enough, some "dire" weens grow to the size of a horse...
- New Mobs - Undead: Do battle against wights, necromancers, and more - each with their own AI and strategies!
- Wereweens: Some characters have been bitten by weens (and survived!) and have become terrifying wereweens. Use their terrible powers to your advantage...
Bug Fixes
- Thug AI no longer causes soft lock
- Numerous fixes to Quest-related bugs (like...a LOT.)
- Fixes to a rarely-occurring loot window bug
- Fixed a rarely-occurring "sudden mission" bug that wouldn't let players accept mission
- Mission buttons now "prioritize" so as to not overlap quite as much
- Fixes to subtle AI bugs when calculating weights
Changes
- Biomancers now attempt to move into healing range of allies who are in danger
- Slimes' damage reduced - they're no longer slimy gods of war
- Epic equipment can now spawn
- Players can now customize their starting character with traits and backgrounds
Quality of Life
- The AI now makes decisions much more quickly in battle (less waiting!)
- Agents move 33% more quickly in battle (less waiting!)
- Numerous typo fixes
- Overworld camera twice as fast when scrolling to events
- Camera now scrolls to acting agents when offscreen
- Battle stat bars no longer change for friendly units who are not player-controlled
