We need to address a serious matter. Recently, rumors have spread around the population of Vert-5 that the government is brutally exploiting its people and doing nothing to improve their plights. These are false.
We urge you to disregard these defamatory rumours. At Vertical 5, we have sacrificed much to stave off the extinction of humankind. Our species is faced with an overpopulation crisis, which has led to mass starvation in the wasteland. Without the infrastructure provided to all citizens of our beloved city, you would be wandering barren lands, soaking up radiation from nuclear fallout and fending yourself from bandits, but here you are – under the protective watch of the authorities.
The government wants to make a better world for all of us. In the comfort of Vertical 5, there is no hunger or wars, you have a job, and we shall all have salvation.
The price for it is high, but humanity will remember everyone that sacrificed themselves for the salvation of civilization. With your help, we will make it to Planet 42.
