For me it is an honor to tell you that the first build of the game demo is about to come out!
On Steam Next Fest event, Crystal will have first playable demo on October 1 of this year, I can't wait for you to try it: D
It is also to inform you that on that same day at 9 AM [PT] / 12 AM [ET] it will be broadcast live the launch trailer on my YouTube channel as well as a complete gameplay of everything that is the demo
Following I will leave you with some news of these last days:
Beta testings
- A month ago we have give several betas of the game for testing, with this we have been able to advance progress in the game faster thanks to the suggestions and bugs notice of the beta testers, they are:
- Danel
- Alpha
- Cesar Essau
- Daztrax
- Voix Cinema
- Kazer
- Dolta
- K0vu
- Lucho
- Albx
- Kosta Vesta
A few days ago we finished with the beta tests, which we just have to wait for it's Demo release date
Demo content
- The game currently has more ready-made content than this Demo has, which will be cut due to unfinished things and it's content that will have more importance in the future. This version of the game will have an approximate 30 minutes of gameplay which can be extended for a longer time. Our goal for the full version of the game is to have a duration of approximately 2 hours in addition to an attractive replayability, I hope to get that goal.
Game Engine
- This week I have started to learn to use Unity and if I go at that learning pace it is very possible that this game will change to Unity because it is a more powerful and practical tool than the engine I currently use, which is Clickteam Fusion 2.5+ By changing the game engine it would make the work of the game much easier for me in addition to a great and noticeable change in quality in terms of technical things, graphics and sounds. Now the question is... Will there be a delay for the final version of the game? as is obvious, if there will be a delay but I don't think it will be too much, in case of switching to Unity as the game's engine it is possible that before May 2021 there will be a new update to the demo with the new change of graphic engine, of course I am not sure that that will happen.
With all that said, nothing more than to finish this blog and wait for the demo to come out...
I'll see you soon :)
