  • The wisp now always automatically checks for new harvests before returning home
  • Updated the description of the Forest Wisp upgrade which now only increases the wisp speed, since the other part of the upgrade is now default behaviour..
  • The Airling and Electric Elemental projectile attacks now accelerate, making them reach the target faster.
  • Made the purple glow on restless skeletons (created by the summoner) more obvious, to show that they have the restless status effect.
  • Made it more obvious that when a restless skeleton dies it drops a bone pile that will spawn into another skeleton
  • Improved the font in the text areas of the feedback form so it’s easier to read
  • Added some demo tips to the spell book screen for new players.
  • The tutorial has been updated to include information about Earth Elementals that don't attack (the Stoneling).

Fixes

Thanks to everyone that provided feedback!

This update includes a number of improvements based on player feedback. In particular players will love the new battle speed bar and wisp changes. There are times when you want to speed things up, sometimes at the start of the battle and sometimes later when you are sure things are under control. The ability to both change the speed and pause the battle allows players to use whichever method suits best for a given situation.

The other key change is the Wisp, which now always checks for new energy to collect before heading to the home position. Previously this was part of the Forest Wisp upgrade, but now it is default behaviour (the Forest Wisp upgrade still provides a significant speed boost). We also have some pretty awesome upgrades that will be added in the full game relating to the Wisp that players are going to love... Battle Wisp anyone?

The update includes some other visual updates to help players understand what the enemies are doing (especially with the Restless Skeletons that leave behind bone piles). The tutorial has also been updated, along with Demo Tips when players are choosing spells & upgrades.
