Greetings!
Every hero needs an antagonist, someone who stands in their way, is a constant obstacle, and always one move ahead. Anvil Saga has one of those! Meet Jean-Jacques Junior, the villain of our story.
Jean-Jacques Senior was one of the wealthiest smiths in the French region. Arthur's father was a blacksmith who arrived from England and settled in a neighboring village. Jean-Jacques Sr. was not happy about the arrival of a foreign competitor. Even though the two held mutual respect for each other and the craft, their rivalry continued beyond their deaths and passed on to their sons.
Jean-Jacques Junior makes up for his middling smithcraft with excellent entrepreneurship. A rich inheritance and his skills in organizing a workforce led his smithy to prosperity and made him the main pretender not only to the title of the Baron’s court smith, but also to the heart and hand of the province’s greatest beauty, our hero’s beloved.
It is up to you to make sure Arthur's blacksmithing business is successful, to overtake his rival and to find love.
Respectfully,
The Anvil Saga Team
