With v0.8.11, DownhillVR brings a wave of refinements that elevate your gaming experience. Our NPC AI has undergone fine-tuning, becoming more attuned to player actions, ensuring every race feels fresh and lively.
We've also enhanced our UI to deliver an even richer user experience. The newly added leaderboards screen, accessible directly from the main menu as you set up your ride, offers an immediate glimpse of where you stand against both global competitors and friends.
Ensuring a glitch-free experience remains a priority. We've rectified various issues, from the pesky orange glow to inaccuracies in race position metrics, making sure every ride is as immersive as it is enjoyable.

- Track Times Leaderboards: A new, dynamic tab has been integrated into the right screen of the main menu. As you gear up for free play or a challenge ride, instantly gauge where you stand against both global competitors and friends.

- NPC AI Behavior Update: Experience a game that's bursting with competitiveness! The NPC AI is not only improved but also more aware of the player's presence, ensuring thrilling race each time.
- Conditions Cycling: Every time you hit the "Next Track - Continue" button on post-race screen, conditions will also change.
- Tracks Order: For better coherence, the tracks in the track selector and the "Next Track - Continue" function have been updated and unified.
- Minor UI Text Adjustments: We've fine-tuned certain UI texts, including map and track descriptions, for better clarity and user experience.
🛠️ Bug Fixes
- Orange Glow Issue Resolved: We've tackled the issue of the persistent orange glow when deviating from the path, ensuring it no longer interrupts your gameplay.
- Race Position Accuracy: Fixed the computational error affecting "distance to finish" calculations. Race positions are now more accurate than ever.
