Hello everyone! We're happy to bring you another update to Paint Chips.
The main highlight of this update are new Gametypes! You can now vote on a random selection of them in Quick Play to mix things up a bit, or go in to custom matches and select your favorite. In total there are now 9 gametypes to choose from! We plan on adding many more, but this is what we were able to complete since the previous update. We hope you all enjoy trying them out and can't wait to hear your thoughts on them.
We have also created a new map! Will you be able to find your way through the Catacombs? Watch out for spikes!
Another nice change is happening to the chat! The super ugly gigantic chat messages in the social lobby are no more, and in its place comes a nice little chat box. This box will now be available in most areas of the game (social, lobby, match), and messages will now be stored across each area for your reading pleasure. Up to 50 messages will be saved, and it is now possible to scroll through them all to see what you've missed! There are a few other minor additions to chat which you can read about below.
We want to express our deepest thanks to everyone playing our game! It's been a lot of fun working on this project and we're always trying to make improvements to increase your enjoyment of it. We try to listen to everyone's suggestions and implement everything that is in alignment with our final vision of the game! We hope to continue improving and making it the most enjoyable experience possible for every player out there. If you haven't already, please consider joining us on Discord where you can talk directly to the developers, make suggestions, report issues, and chat with players outside of the game.
