Get ready for some heat!

Hello witches,

Today’s update brings something very special - a completely new zone, the Desert! New creatures, resources and riddles are waiting for you!

We also added a new, fun gameplay feature: Photography. After completing Rebecca’s quest, you will receive a Camera and be able to take photos of anything you find interesting. Ask around: perhaps someone else could make use of your photography skills?

We have also recognized that some players have issues related to controls due to specific keyboards that they’re using. As such, from now on, Keybinds are available.

With this patch and previous ones, we have added a staggering amount of content to the base release, and there’s still more to come before the full launch. As such, in accordance with Early Access information on the Store page, we will be increasing the game’s price slightly next month. Because of that, now is the BEST time to buy the game!

The full patch notes are as follows:

Bugfixes:

  • Climbing and getting on a broom at the same time no longer causes the character model to glitch
  • Removing weeds with a Sickle no longer blocks interaction with the removed spot
  • Canceling crafting now returns a correct quality of ingredients
  • Fixed a crash that would occur if you were on a ladder at 4 AM
  • The player will no longer receive random items after loading the game
  • Plants that aren’t fully grown cannot be harvested anymore
  • It is no longer possible to scroll while using a build tool
  • Fixed the display of seasons in the Compendium
  • Fixed Danika’s spawn time
  • Tzoru no longer get stuck running in one spot
  • Tzoru race now ends correctly
  • Attempting to edit an object will no longer teleport the player
  • Moved one of the Beehives on the world map, it was too high and honey couldn’t be harvested
  • Fixed the display of commissions
  • It’s no longer possible to use items while getting on a Tzoru
  • Minor fixes to editing objects
  • Interacting with trees will no longer cause Abrill to become stuck
  • Dish descriptions no longer disappear after loading the game
  • All chests on the island can now be opened
  • Incubation will no longer produce only female Cuflow
  • Fixed spawn points on the farm to make sure that animals don’t spawn under textures
  • Minor fixes to Charna’s quest
  • Multiple controller related UI fixes
  • Compass will now correctly display NPC icons if more than one are in the interior
  • Granola Crackers are no longer called Skewers
  • Fixed recipe names during discovery
  • Statues in one of the riddles will no longer stack on top of each other
  • Literal trash is no longer an acceptable neutral gift
  • Tulips now adhere to season growth rules
  • Cuflow no longer sink in the floor
  • Purchasing Tzoru will now correctly update the amount of money you have

  • You can now take any number of items from a stack instead of all of them
  • Items in chests can now be split
  • It is now possible to quickly add multiple items to the chest
  • Added new map markers
  • Paffti shrines now have an exclamation mark if they have an item to pick up
  • All seeds now have descriptions which include grow time, seasons and harvest amount
  • Character quests now are forshadowed in character compendium page on relation level UI
  • The game now detects which items in your inventory cannot be used for crafting and marks them with a red background
  • Cauldron can now be moved
  • You can now grow 13 different kinds of flowers
  • Added Wild Altars on the map; unlocking them allows fast travel

Minor features and improvements:

  • Adjusted Furnace so it works more like a Cauldron
  • Added food preparing table
  • Reduced Spicy Roots drop rate
  • Dyes are now less expensive
  • Updated Dig Spot model and texture
  • Adjustments to Bitter Gentian harvest and farming
  • Improved the hand placement of potion models
  • Added two new navigation buttons to the chest
  • Adjustments to Cassandra’s and Rogost’s stores
  • Increased the size of some mushrooms
  • Adjusted Pickaxe upgrade prices
  • Added an “out of water” prompt for the watering can
  • Updated recycler, quern and artisan table icons
  • Added Abrill’s coordinates on the map
  • Higher quality items no longer generate poor returns when used in the Extractor
  • Adjustments to waypoints display on the compass
  • Updated Hedgemole Spikes model
  • Hanging multiple chandeliers will no longer cause performance issues
  • Added a prompt that informs the player about cooldown time on gifts
  • Adjustments to tourist models while they’re laying down
  • Added a prompt to “Hold” function while having a full inventory
  • Updated UI to distinguish failed commissions
  • Added a prompt after fully upgrading a Cauldron
  • Adjusted snow textures on bridges, stairs and planks
