11/17 Roadmap Announcement

Greetings, Warriors!
This is Paragon: The Overprime.

We are currently in the Early Access stage for the PC version. There have been challenging situations leading up to the release of this roadmap, but finally, we are honored to share our comprehensive plans with you.

Now, we would like to explain the development roadmap for Paragon: The Overprime.

Let's start with the key points.

1. Addition of a New Hero

(1) New Heroine
Following Zena, the second Heroine from MAVE: is scheduled to be added in November.
This new Heroine will be a Caster, offering a combat experience in a way you haven't seen before.

Additionally, through the collaboration with MAVE:, we plan to release a special OST for Paragon: The Overprime.

We will continue making challenging and innovative attempts to ensure our Warriors can enjoy the game with a new sensibility.

(2) Upcoming Heroes
After November, a total of 5 Heroes, including one Warrior, one Tank, and one Ranger, are preparing to enter the battlefield. Three of them are existing Heroes from Paragon, and the remaining two are original Heroes from Paragon: The Overprime.

All Heroes released after this point will be original Heroes from Paragon: The Overprime.

2. Development Plans

(1) Current Development Status
Our development team is working on Emojis and Emotions to enhance communication among Warriors on the battlefield. We are also improving the Collection features. Furthermore, we are in the final stages of developing features like improved Spectator UI, Pause function, and the Replay system to foster the esports ecosystem of Paragon: The Overprime. We will introduce these features to our Warriors in the near future.

(2) Future Development Schedule
Our development team plans to add new systems, including improvements to the Training Grounds, Labs (tentative name), Battle Pass, Mastery, and story enhancements. Additionally, we plan to make significant changes that could completely reshape the combat meta, such as adding a Passive system for all Heroes, introducing new Karma and new Items (including consumables), and enhancing characteristics.

We will continuously provide our Warriors with diverse and strategic fun and will not be afraid to make changes. We will strive to prevent Paragon: The Overprime's battles from becoming dull through experimental attempts.

Feedback on our development direction is always welcome. Warriors, feel free to share your opinions with us!

3. Console Development Schedule and Progress

The release on the console platform has been in progress for a long time, but it has not been an easy journey. However, we want to inform you that the awaited results are not far away.

To alleviate the tedious wait, we plan to conduct the second PS5 Closed Beta Test (CBT) in the “North America/Europe” region in mid-December. Sequential platform expansion openings will be conducted as preparations are completed.

4. Official Launch and Marketing

If testing on various console platforms is successfully concluded, we are preparing for the official launch of Paragon: The Overprime in 2024.

As our game relies on a large player base for a smooth matchmaking experience, we plan to prepare marketing efforts to attract new players in line with the official launch. We will make continuous efforts to ensure that both PC and console players can play Paragon: The Overprime in a seamless matchmaking environment.

5. Balance Adjustments

In-game balance will be adjusted through Minor and Major Updates every two weeks, following the same method as before. Additionally, elements causing serious issues to the game's balance will be quickly addressed through hotfixes.
We are actively listening to all of our Warriors' feedback through various channels and constantly striving for the stability of game balance.

6. Season Operations

Early Access Season 2 is scheduled to end at the end of November, and Early Access Season 3 will start immediately without going through a preseason. As a reward for achieving the Gold tier in Competitive mode, players will receive Rampage’s “The Protection of the Ancient Gods” (tentative name) Skin.

Since the next season will start with the official launch, this season may be longer than the previous ones. Our official regular season, starting with the official launch will consist of four-month splits. Each regular season will occur every four months, allowing us to move directly to the next season without a preseason.
We also have plans to introduce a Season Pass with various rewards for each season, so please look forward to it!

7. Gifts

We believe that in challenging situations, we have listened to the diverse opinions of our
Warriors and reflected them to achieve positive improvements. Your varied opinions have always provided us with new perspectives and have been a driving force for better results. With gratitude for this, we plan to give our Warriors some gifts, including some of the new Emojis and Emotions that are scheduled to be added. The schedule for gift distribution will be announced in detail at a later date.

Finally, we express our gratitude for always providing us with diverse opinions and enabling us to achieve better results. Thank you for your continued feedback, which is instrumental in our ongoing efforts to improve.
