Hey guys! It's time for a little summary of Playtest Build 1.0.
First off, a huge thank you for the incredible interest in the playtests! Your feedback and gameplay insights have been invaluable, helping us understand exactly where to focus our improvements. We're already working on the first fixes for quick slots and redesigning the bow mechanics to make them more intuitive. Additionally, we're addressing rare errors with certain headsets and expanding support for less popular models.
But wait, there’s more! Since this is Playtest Build 1.0, you know what that means… Playtest Build 2.0 is on the way!
Here’s what you can look forward to in the upcoming release:
- Sandbox Mode
- New main menu (more similar to what you will find in the Early Access version)
- Option to skip the tutorial
- Updated quick slot system
- Updated bow
Here’s a sneak peek of our work-in-progress Sandbox Mode! This small video highlights just one of the features in store - the magnetic wall.
And that’s just the start! Sandbox Mode will be packed with interactive attractions: hooks, a grinder, a wrecking ball… and plenty more surprises waiting to be discovered!
We've also prepared a small fix for Playtest Build 1.0. Here's the changelog:
- Fixed issues where the player may fall through the floor or get stuck in some locations.
- Resolved audio bug that caused sound to be missing.
- Fixed compatibility issue with the Rift S, ensuring it works properly.
- Updated the IK foot positioning for androids to make movements appear more natural.
- Adjusted arm IK for Frank.
- Improved behavior of the Android when thrown into snow.
- Made player height calibration progress more seamless.
- Updated fall damage calculation for consistency.
- Reworked Frank’s lower body pose during normal jumps.
- Enhanced controller positioning for Quest 2/3 for greater accuracy.
