This patch adds:
- A new menu in which you can discover and read lore about the world, its beings and animals. Unlocking information about beings can be done be dissecting or fighting them.
- Historical figures will be added to each world.
- Art can be inspired by historical figures, which are loved be some and despised by others, which can create very positive or negative reactions.
- The whole caravan menu has been greatly improved, making it much easier to use and navigate. You can also use a new function to easily add food to caravan storage.
- Carts can be marked to be caravan-only, which will change their appearance and they will only be used when inside an none-owned area.
- Social skills plays a bigger role in travelling, enabling players to negotiate their way out of hostile situations.
- Players now have the option to mute certain types of news.
- Locking the cursor to the screen can be toggled ON/OFF through game options.
This patch changes:
- Portraits have been significantly improved.
- The character menu now uses buttons instead of text to select page, and is overall prettier.
- When 'placing' spells, the cursor changes to a wand icon.
- Players can now see the destinations of visitors with carts.
- Skills progressions is now always seen in the menu, giving an easy overview.
- Target dummies can now be placed indoors.
- When resurrecting characters, perks related to light magic are now removed. (When loading a game, affected risen units will be 'fixed'.)
- The resource-search-menu can be used for selling items when trading.
- The default repair threshold is set at 70% instead of 50%.
- The starting menus have been redesigned to be a little prettier.
- Consuming delicious (or better) food can now increase loyalty.
This patch fixes:
- The UI didn't display the rank damage of searing beam.
- Searing beam only worked at x1 game speed. This has been fixed.
- There was a glitch where stuff built indoors would momentarily clip through the wall.
- A rare problem involving stockpiles and never-ending fetch-drop loops (related to double storage) has been addressed.
- Risen, skeleton characters portraits no longer sometimes have visible noses.
- Animals that are severely wounded will no longer be able to fade away/escape.
- The issue of the Dread Knight getting stuck between blocks and not mineable, has been fixed.
- Social interaction and viewing art no longer gives energy to risen characters, which only made their skincolor become strange. (When dead, energy is used to mark decay)
- Players can now dismantle ancient research tables.
- Ships are now correctly named.
- Caravans arriving at both dusk and dawn (effectivley cloning people) can no longer happen.
- Risen characters can't be assigned beds and don't own them.
- Improved the news-zoom-feature between two characters.
- Aborting the creation of art resulted in the wrong items being dropped.
- Several crashes and other minors stuff have been fixed.
