In the first entry of life on Gryja, we looked into the first tribe that lives on the planet, the Buna. Now, it’s time to move on to the next one, the Sakhras!
The Sakhras, together with Buna, form the Builders’ alliance, whose oath is to protect their home, the village of Alhaya, against the threat of the Destroyers.
The Sakhras are among the most recent forms of life on the planet of Gryja. Their toad-like appearance is linked to the fact that, unlike all other life forms on the planet, their soul has remained partially bound to the liquid and fumes of the primordial stream.
Normally, Sakhras are much smaller than Buna, but some of them manage to grow to enormous size by eating a gigantic amount of raw crystals. The assumption of which, however, can be extremely dangerous and even leading to madness!
The desire to "get fat" is tied to an internal social status, and it is no coincidence that most dominant Sakhras tower over their smaller counterparts.
Even though they are tolerated by the Buna, the Sakhras are considered inferior, since they are not totally tied to the soul of the earth and are usually weaker than them. Despite this, however, they managed to create a small empire, thanks to their keen intelligence, talent for machinery, and ruthless sense of business.
