This time, we want to talk about the next weekly update.
First, the "Ranking System" is updated on all stages.
All records will inevitably be reset when the ranking system is updated. The ranking system is operated on a trial basis during the Early Access period, and there may be more resets during that period, so please understand. 😥
The ranking system not only records the score, but also includes all information including the building, skill, item, and the applied tech-tree along with the score recorded by the user. Of course, the same is true for modules mounted on buildings. In addition, if you click on each item, an information panel appears as in the general case, so you can see the applied figures in detail. Also, in the case of a tech-tree, if you press it, the entire tech-tree is displayed, so you can check it in detail.
The ranking system is an additional content that allows you to compete with Steam users around the world for a higher score, but we think it can be a good measure to see what combination other users use.
The ranking system is available across all stages, including all difficulty levels and Challenge Modes.
The more Challenge Modes applied, the higher the ranking, and if the number of Challenge Modes applied is the same, the score is compared.
The second change is the increase in the number of building slots.
There are many towers and barriers in the game now, and there will be more updates in the future, but the number of slots was too small to utilize them all. This was a problem that simply couldn't be solved by just numerical balancing, and it severely limited the combinations that could be used.
We have concluded that it would be better to increase the number of slots in terms of balance, strategy, and fun, and we plan to increase the number of building slots from 6 to 8.
After this week's update, "Endless Mode", which plays the stage indefinitely, will be updated. In line with this, an Endless Mode is also added to the ranking system. After that, an update of the next chapter is planned.
