Hey everyone. Wanted to give you an update on our monetization plans.
We’ve seen some push back, and after thinking about it all month, we’ve decided to make it so **ALL PLAYERS WILL HAVE ACCESS TO NEW MAPS/MODES IF THE HOST IS PREMIUM**. We think right now it’s better for everyone if we make everything as accessible as possible.
“Wait but me and my friends already bought the paid version! Is it just worthless now as long as we have one of us with premium?!? :angry: Gamer angry!” : so premium version still gets you the cosmetic stuff like it does now, as well as the future cosmetic stuff in the works(seeker skins, unlockable outfits, etc). Does that sound good?
All of this will be going into effect next *Friday, Oct 1st*. The game will remain $5, because of this change we may change it to $10 at version 1.0, but idk that’s still several months away so we’ll see.
Thanks for everyone’s feedback and patience this last month, I'm new at this business stuff. But I feel this is the best way forward for everyone :) I hope you agree!
