In the new release, you can learn the real power of grapple, the updated linker physics allows you to have grapple velocity in all directions including horizontal, and with stronger pull, you will feel like a superhero! And if you want to stay invisible but still move fast, we have added a strafe jump which allows you to add extra acceleration with a well-timed following jump. This update also includes tons of improvements:
1. Strafe jumps. If you want you to stay low and move fast, this new locomotion is for you, move your head left or right upon landing from the previous jump and hit the jump again to gain extra acceleration, every subsequent jump keeps the extra velocity from the previous so can be really fast!
2. Horizontal velocity grapple. Previously the linker was heavily limited for horizontal acceleration but with the updated physics you have no limits, it feels natural, you swing and fly in all directions and only DBG can stop you.
3. Tournament playground coordinator improvements. With weekly tournaments getting bigger, it's much harder to coordinate matches between participants but with these improvements, there is no need to go to the lobby to find your match. Just stay in the Tournament Playground arena playing with your friends until your match is ready and your opponent is either in the match or with you in the Tournament Playground.
4. Explosion impulse cancellation fix. Now rocket or DBG explosion impulse is not canceled after a quick delay and will let your target be blown far far away. You can also try it on yourself with rocket or DBG jumps. Try it ;)
5. Loadout skin animation. Now with every skin preview, you see a short performance.
6. Level boundary is no longer damaging you, just bouncing back.
7. Fix for autogenerated names, if you get one (ends with 3 digits), this version restores your platform name automatically.
8. Better reflections on the Janus level.
9. Update hands material, no more rusty hands.
10. Bright tutorial scene, enjoy your first experience with the light above your head.
11. Do not friend dead people, no longer possible, sorry.
