Update v 0.73.0

Polish galore! We're back for the first time in a while with an update. See what we've changed below, and as always, join our Discord server to keep up with development and find other players!

Features added:

  • Shape modification! Alongside uniform scaling, players can now scale shapes along specific axes.
  • New control scheme! Drawing is now controlled by trigger, and shapes can now be picked up with both grip AND trigger. (One exception: on Index, shapes can only be picked up with trigger.)
  • Beta support for Valve Index headset! You will no longer be drawing all over the place accidentally. Full Index support in progress -- we'd love to hear your feedback.
  • Room rearrangement! We Marie Kondo'd away the easel during menu scenes, and moved other furniture for better UX.
  • Better, smoother rendering of drawn lines
  • You can now draw on the canvas with the finger brush
  • New and improved potato models and animations
  • Anti-aliasing now active on VR
  • Revamped mobile round victory screens
  • Iterated on the projectile (onion bomb) mobile powerup
  • Drawing now has up to 6 different sizes to choose from

Bugs fixed:

  • Improvements to in-game push to talk, including more reliable support for Rift and Vive microphones
  • General improvements to collision detection and drawing in VR
  • Sound settings now scale better from 0 to 100
  • Artist hands and body now properly synced across the network
  • Tutorial wording and polish
  • Fixed bugs related to Artist winning/losing a round
  • Fixed inconsistent collisioning with the totem rollers
  • Projectile powerup does not destroy shapes on the bench

Known issues:

  • On SteamVR, in some cases you are able to draw with your non-dominant hand
  • On SteamVR, while in left-hand mode, if you hold down the movement stick/pad while air-drawing, the air-drawing functionality breaks intermittently
  • Index users are shown the Oculus controller guide instead of Index
