Hello Shapers!
Since our Early Access launch is just around the corner (October 3rd), I figured I'd do the service of showing you some sick stuff you'll be able to see in a few weeks time.
Volt Colossus
If you played our demo, then you must be familiar with Volt. Volt is not smart. He’s a lot of things (strong, determined, stubborn, mean) but he lacks the cognitive fortitude of his Overlord companions.
Before becoming an Overlord, Volt worked in the power distribution network. A lot of Volt’s insecurity stemmed from the fact that he was the first Shaper to be born of a long line of Garbage Compactor bots. Stay vigilant! Just because he's not bright, doesn't mean he won't crush you to a pulp.
Grunts
In New Elysium, there's one enemy you'll see the most. Say hello to your most common and frequent enemy, affectionately named Grunt. Depending on which tower you're in, you can meet many variations of our friend. These alternate versions are named Hardhats, Dredgers, Grunt, and [REDACTED]. Tell me, don't they look fun to punch into a wall?
Each Grunt has a different way to punish, from projectiles to kicking to bursts of bullets, so don't mistake them as cute.
Sonic Lance
It's time to shake things up on your run with the Sonic Lance!
It's not blue (or a hedgehog) but it does blast acoustic waves that pierce foes and inflict a powerful Vibro effect.
Looking at how all these things have been brought to life over the last few years is incredible. Can't wait to hear your thoughts on October 3rd.
